No replies yet? strange, anyways this is pretty sick. Nice synths on the intro, hipass filters and whatnot, really cool bassline. Cant believe this is your first production its really wicked.

I really liked this bro, cant wait to hear more stuff from ya

Hi there,
The intro remminds me somehow of " AVB - Yet another day ".
Bass is nice and simple. Love the FX and the distorted synths, the pluck is superb, liking it alot. Great strings. After a while it becomes abit boring, you should add some perc. I think you could have changed the 8 bar of the pluck abit, maybe make it higher. Sweet break! I like the harmony. The Synths dont dissapoint me either. Overall a nice track with a good vibe init. Add some perc and you'll have a winner .

nice intro so far..

ah to bad expected a deeper bass.

small acid works great.

the buildup towards the break could use more things to make it less repeatative.

nice tune, got it got a basic trance structure, kinda robert nickson style.

Just to say well done mate, this is tight and clear and very nice and polished to listen to. It sounds good on my crappy PC speakers downstairs so that's good! As a tune it's very typical ASOT style, which I'm moving away from really so can't comment about that. Very tight skills mate - everything is nice and crisp.

Hey! This deserves alot more replays!!! It's hot hot hot! I can gladly make a remix for you if you allow me I have fiddeled a bit with the melody in Reason 2.5. I think it's very nice, but a bit too short and monoton. Tip --> Add delay. Set the feedback to around 50 and The Dry\Wet to around 50 too. (At least in Reason) It sound much better!

Again, thanks for the replies, theyll all come in handy!!

Alex + Sebraa: if you want to remix it PM me your email and ill send through the midi.

Cheers

This is great! I especially like the punchy bass drum or whatever it's called. The only slight thing I'm wondering about is that when things get really grooving, around 6:15 or so, maybe the percussion is too quiet? I'm really not too sure. I'd like to hear the opinion of a person who's really pro at mastering. Oh, it might be nice to also add some more variation to the main melody, like a counterpoint melody or something. Nevertheless, it's very pro sounding. Good job.

OMG.

Solid Work. Can't really add anything that others haven't already said.

Top Tune !! really good synths and production. This tune has potential to go far. Nice work.

You know how much i love it Rob!

This tune has been top 10'nd by Matt Hardwick and rightfully so. This guy has brilliant potential.

Really really impressive production skill, nice tune.

Having said that the main thing that comes to my mind is that with all this talent you obviously have, you have created something so similar sounding to everything else that's out there - this being possibly the main problem of mainstream trance today, hardly anyones trying new things. Just thought I'd be honest - it really is a very impressive track reguardless.

Hi, very nice track u got there, it is kinda proggy, I like it, but I wish there would be more drive too it, and that the melody is kinda darker, I thing the melody u use is too bright for this kinda track..

keep it up!!

Posted by eulerfx on May-15-2004 21:00:

nothing to add really. sounds great and professional unlike my crap haha

Bit late for this one, but it's certainly worth it since I think it's very nice!

I love the stroll towards the break, makes up for a very dreamy experience. I think the effects present are very good and too much of them would disturb that feeling it gives right now.

I do think the lead is a tad weak. Perhaps it wouldn't fit the style, but I think the lead could be stronger.

Cheers and good luck with the track
Wim

Very nice production. I like the atmosphere you created. Great acidline and melodies. The only thing is that it might would sound better if it was in about 138bpm.

Cool

very very nice, not really much to say at all

would it be possible to get a better bitrate mp3 so i can play it out and on tranceairwaves?

Fantastic tune.
I heard Daniel Bailey play it a few months ago on Fire FM Bournemouth and it instantly gave me a head rush.
Love it from start to finish especialy the breakdown and pick-up in the middle.
I would LOVE to see this piece on 12".

MASTERPEICE!! Love the intro, nice layered buildup, it does have that armin touch.. As Lightworks said, creates a dreamy, atmposphric space...

Excellent work dude.. Nuff said

EDIT : "Activa feat Aled Mann - In Essence" - is this another production by yourself??
