SASHA INVOLVER ALBUM TOUR
This summer Sasha is set to tour the world in support of his highly anticipated album for Global Underground, Involver.

Sonically, Involver meets the listener smack at the point where Sashas 2002 artist album Airdrawndagger and the future of electronic music collide. This is Sashas first mix compilation in nearly 5 years and his first full-length release since the acclaimed Airdrawndagger.

As an album it completely and perfectly integrates the concept of the DJ mix compilation and the producer / artist album. Every single track is an original Sasha remix or re-creation that has been exclusively recorded as an original piece for this project.

He called upon some of his closest friends and peers including Felix Da Housecat, UNKLE and Ulrich Schnauss and asked for permission to recreate, especially for this album, one or more of their songs.

House? No wonder. No, can't say I ever heard of Spooky.

Man, why couldn't he make more tracks in the same manner and style as Xpander?

I can't really say, but uhh music preogresses the sounds the whole direction of it really over time or periosd of time.

Just got done listening to the promo and I like what I hear. Alot more banging than ADD and also very breakbeat influenced. Can't wait to buy this album!

Posted by arturob on May-22-2004 19:48:

i liked also !!! its great music

People may disagree, but in my opinion Sasha is the greatest dj to ever walk the planet. If you haven't seen him live, then you ain't seen nothin yet. I'v seen him 5 times solo and twice with Digweed, and nobody has even come close to moving me like he has. This album is perhaps the most anticipated album of the year. It will be his first mixed album in 5 years, since GU013 Ibiza was released. 6/23 @ 1150 can't come soon enough...(:

I did see him live, and I saw nothing. I want my $30 back from Crobar!

Posted by UWM on May-23-2004 18:37:

I can't wait to hear what he did w/Spooky - Belong and Lo-Step -Burma.

Posted by SlackerBoy9 on May-23-2004 18:39:

If all you like is the monotony of trance then no you won't appreciate what he plays, but he is not strictly house he is one of the few who will bounce from genre to genre.Sasha is possibly one of the best djs...and yes i know at times his sets can seem boring to someone who isn't accustomed to it but check out his Global underground ibiza,i think that is his best solo dj mix available on cd.The man puts alot of emotion into his sets and his technical skills are amazing

For somebody who doesn't know anything about him, you sure are quick to put him down. Trance isn't the only good music around you know.

You know nothing about me.

Sasha live in Ireland '99, now that was more of the style that I liked. I used to like him until I started hearing tripe that I don't dig. And trance is my only good music; trying to make me see otherwise will be in vain.

Sasha @ Crobar 8/19/02. That was when I saw him, and it wasn't worth the money I spent, nor the parking ticket I got.
