also check out Stomper vs. Basscar ("Bazooka", "Die Steinigung" etc.)...although it might be to hard for your taste after all

Satan (eek!) picotto is a god

mauro is ace... thats all that needs to be sed! his older tunes are amazing also, just have a listen at 'Lizzard', 'Iguana', or 'Pulsar' they all wikid. As for Baguette etc.. id call them more hard trance than tech trance meself :d

I'd agree every one around here seems convinced that Picotto makes tech-trance ... now I can definitely see where people get that impression ... but what I think of tech-trance and what I've seen labeled as tech - trance on flyers (then subsequently heard at the party).. is a) much harder b) doesn't have nearly 1/2 the melody lines that picotto does and c) sounds far closer to GOA/Psy Trance .. but with more of a deep techno bass + techno hi hats, clicks and pops.. I know I'm just splitting hairs but that's may rant for the day .. I don't pretend it's right.. it's just my 2 cents..

I dunno how old it is but a good set from mauro picotto is from the luca exchange in boston. It starts off with some decent hard trance then moves on to a softer but equally as good trance sound.

Well yeah i know Picotto has many names under his belt...but i wanted to know more tunes that are similar to sogns like Baguette, lava,Pegasus (Superclub mix)...but to me thats no Hard trance one bit... more like Techno or Tech-house..something what Sven or carl cox would play...im looking for tunes that sound similar to that type!!
