Interesting combination, I sorta enjoyed it, but then unfortunately the melody got annoying... Never liked that Da Hool tune...
But very interesting work nonetheless

enjyed remembering how much i listened to da hool's track
very nice mash up btw
wow what a bootleg! If I'm honest then I really waited that TRAFFIC synth as well but ... anyway ITS PERFECT!
sebraa
great mix man
what software did you use for it??
normally i'd pass up a thread title such as this, but i saw who posted it. I still remember john speaking highly of you, so ill give her a dl and a listen!
This can't be faulted production wise; this is literally a perfect mashup. Can't see myself playing it personally these days, but this is a great mashup man and thanks for posting it!
Did you sample the Da Hool synth or did you re-create it?
WOW!!!
REALLY cool mashup man.
Well done. Me likey
heh its really good bootleg ... all bootlegs are really fun to listen

nice one lad
how did you make it?
really cool.. lol.. i didnt think the two would mix too well, but u pulled it off.. hahahaha.. i really liked the combo
tnx all
All editing was done on Cooledit Pro 2.0
I didn't recreate the da hool lead, I sampled it, and edited it.
[edit] oh yeah, of course I don't mind if someone plays it in a set. That's what it's made for
spread it! hehe [/edit]
Oh my, very nice indeed, this one has to be burnt and spun if you dont mind! However, theres just two problem, and unfortunately they stick out like a sore thumb to me.
Firstly, there is a pop during the second breakdown at around -2:31, once the LPF has finished going down and its on the way back up, secondly, the other side of the breakdown when you bring back in the Traffic intro, there are some low frequency harmonics still kicking around from MHATLP, possibly artefacts from the instrumental that you used/cooked up. They could be about during the rest of the tune too but I didnt spot them else where. So just that spot to worry about.
Im sorry to throw up some downers Pjotr G, but its an awesome bootleg youve done which neednt be marred buy two tiny errors! I know its just for fun, but fix those two issues, and youre on to a winner!
Ok I examined the part where you pointed out a pop. There seems to be one, I found it very very small. Probably attributable to cooledits tendency to not affect the end of a selection during a filter slide. Easy to remove though, if it was what you were referring to.
The rhythms during the second breakdown were nicked from the rhythms at about 0:28. There there was some bassy noise sweepish effect used with loads of reverb, which I tried to filter out, but some of the higher harmonics are still detectable and there's nothing I can do about it.
To be honest, I find the pop too little a deal to re-upload
Fair enough! Ill just edit it out of my own then
Once again, good work.
wicked tune
awesome work pjotr !
