Whats the difference between Wundervoll (B&J) and PvD's edit???

Seen the Blank & Jones remix of Wundervoll on several liveset tracklists, but the PvD edit on others. To save me from downloading a whole goddamn liveset on a 56k modem, can someone tell me what work PvD did to this track.

not much?

just a guess

Posted by thesuperfunk on May-14-2004 21:30:

he's beefed up the bassline a bit.

blank & jones mix all the way.. great tune.

Posted by Haunted on May-14-2004 21:49:

dont think there is a pvd mix

Posted by mndeg on May-15-2004 05:42:

edits are different from mixes, edit is like minimal change to the song itself

Posted by fitom tiel on May-15-2004 06:13:

the clap

The PVD edit is just something that paul has made for himself to use in his sets. There are lots of other pvd edits too, which are newer going to get released..

It won't be released (till Wolfsheim gave their permission to it (Blank & Jones said that)

There is no vinyl existing of it, even Blank & Jones, PvD etc. play it as MP3

Posted by djdarkness on May-15-2004 10:34:

yea with most tracks paul just adds another lyer to the bassline or addes his paul van dyk kick drum over it, just a little edit that only he has and he plays...

Posted by DJ Mikey Mike on May-15-2004 12:04:

he's taken out a small section, as well as adding his own bassline + kick. Nothing too noticeable really, unless you were to compare both on a real good system.

heh. yea what he said.

he replaced the kick. and made a couple of cuts. also fixed the outro

PVD's version was created for ease of mixing for him.

yes adding the clapping sound makes it sound better

Posted by sandstorm03 on May-15-2004 21:43:

now are you wineing, because you dont like the remix, dont think djs should remix, or because you just want the track.

Posted by Greedy on May-15-2004 22:50:

i actually cant stand the song. . .with or without the clap.

Posted by sandstorm03 on May-16-2004 02:56:

Posted by Greedy on May-16-2004 03:19:
