Is this the one where he reworked/remixed the tracks?

Posted by Psionic on May-16-2004 01:24:

Yay

Posted by montana on May-16-2004 01:29:

yesh, looks very interesting, that cover pic is also cool, he looks slighty bored but still ok, the tracklist looks very interesting, felix da housecat, heh, i want to hear that one

Thanks for the info, it looks very promising

Posted by Floorfiller on May-16-2004 04:03:

awesome...should be good stuff

so curious about his remix of Petter - These Days!!

Posted by shoXx on May-16-2004 09:12:

Tracklist looks promising, but the cover sucks in my opinion.

Posted by sektile on May-16-2004 12:10:

are all the tracks remix's / edit's ?

edited with review;

goddamn, just simply amazing. up there with the best cd's ive ever heard for sure.

every single track just rocks and they flow well together, really cool how some tracks have been reworked heavily while others are minimal but when it all flows together its just perfect.

the biggest disapointment is the chance a lot of this might never get released! fuck me i need the first track on 12"

sasha's first mix cd in six? years and it delivers. awesome

Yes.

Posted by noikeee on May-16-2004 12:20:

honestly the tracklist doesn't look very exciting to me, maybe the fact that they're all sasha remixes/edits will make me like it. though the unkle - in a state remix wasn't that all IMO neither.

but sasha's still an electronic music 'god'

When does Sasha not look bored?

Christ, I don't think I've ever seen a pic of him where he's smiling...

me too. apparantly petter is pretty happy with it..must say, what a strange tune to choose to remix..the original is a masterpiece, and a very different tune in its own right.

Posted by Glaniskanis on May-16-2004 14:29:

He made a superb remix of Petter - These Days
Has vox and all... I really dig it!!

Posted by XeQtOr on May-17-2004 14:10:

Damn only one cd... I expected it to be a double cd.. Still a must have for every prog freak...

Posted by Floorfiller on May-17-2004 14:56:

yeah...definitely some interesting remix choices...i want to hear what he does with Petter, but also that Ulrich Schnauss tune. i thought it was great already, but i'm sure he'll do something special to it...

ive heard him play it out twice...and ive heard the original. to be honest i didnt really notice much difference to the original. all hes done is put a standard breakbeat under it and made it a bit more dancefloor friendly. nothing spectacular. its in his mix from colours@the liquid rooms set from november last year, if you want to hear it.

ok...well...that's kinda lame. i hope that he at least did a little more work on the rest of the tunes...

I hope so too, cause his remix for In A State wasn't all that different from the original either...
