London here I come.....heya!!

Hey all

5 weeks until I leave Aussieland and head for some adventures in Europe and UK......and I just realised I haven't ventured properly into UK TA yet...so, thought I'd pop my head in here since I'll be spending a fair bit of time in London....

Another Aussie TA girl and I will be travelling thru europe, then arriving in London August 13 - I'll be working there for at least 3 months - maybe longer if I'm liking it I have a few friends outside London, but don't know anybody actually in London....so, thought I'd see if there are any London TAs who could lead an Aussie girl in the right direction (or maybe even the wrong direction...hehehe) when I get there.....

My London baptism will be at Turnmills August 13 - I've heard good and bad things about the club, and about London scene in general....but I'm open-minded and I'll try anything once.....and the dj that night is a good friend of mine...........so, anybody wanna come along?? *lol*

Ok beemer, there are a few things i need to know before we can point you in the right direction of what to do and stuff!

1. Whereabouts in London are you staying?
2. Is it your first time in London/England?
3. If so, are you interested in tourist type things to do
4. Are you interested in doing naughty things with the London TA's

You should consider coming a couple of weeks earlier...GKGG is on the weekend of the 31st of July and it will be a blinder!

I dunno what the lineup of Turnmills will be in August, but i'm sure Grahame will be able to get that info, since he is their web designer!

Oooh questions

1) Don't know what part of London yet....I'll know 3 weeks before I get there....I'm gonna be a bar wench for a while (my normal civil service job will be waiting for me when I get back here in a year - I wanna do a relatively fun non-office job for a bit) - got my job thru an agency here, and I get offers from pubs 3 weeks before I arrive, and I pick which one I want....area I asked for is central london....job is live-in.......when I get my offers, I'll ask u if there's any I should stay away from!!

2) Was in London for a few days when I was in 13, but didn't do much then - so it's pretty much my first proper time

3) I'm interested in everything....want a balance of culture and fun

4) Depends if London TAs are interested in doin naughty things with Aussie TAs!!

No can do GKGG - we'll be in Barcelona that weekend - just couldn't work it into the schedule.......my big festival will be Dance Valley in Amsterdam a week later....so, can't complain!!!

Sooooo, do my answers pass??

Turnmills August 13 is Lucien Foort...he's a close friend, hence why I'm going that nite
