audigy 2 zs or platinum zs pro

hi guys!
1-i'm upgrading to audigy 2 sz even if it's late...
is there any other difference between the audigy2
zs and the platinum pro other than the external
stuff???
ps:i'm not using any hardware or external recodring
just FL with some plugins,is the platinum better for
that too?
2-it's possible to buy Delta 410,it's almost the same
price of the platinum here, but is it better?
Thnx a lot ppl!

They are both gamers cards, get a decent one from M-Audio, Terratec etc.

thx for ur replies, but can i find a pro
one at 250$ ?
and what should i look for?
thnx again!

neither.. creative blows for production.. (i know from experience)

for $150 you can pick up an m-audio audiophile 24/96 which r0x the house with it's ASIO drivers.. but for a bit more you can get an EMU which comes with an onboard DSP to run some included FX to keep them off your host CPU... but I'm not sure how the ASIO drivers are on the EMU...

Thx again guys!
i found the audiophile at 295$ here, the platinum pro at 286$
and the M-audio delta 1010 at 395$
i keep counting my money to see if it will raise to 395$

Posted by RiCo on May-18-2004 00:40:

Do you mean Delta 1010LT or the Delta 1010? $395 seems awfully cheap for a Delta 1010. Anyway, I have the Delta 1010 and it works great...it's good if you have more than one synth but don't want to use a mixer. It has 8 TRS inputs and 8 TRS outputs in the back.

Posted by ijozef on May-18-2004 11:04:

yeah sorry it's the delta 1010 LT!
Where can i find the Audiophile for 150$
in Canada?my friend is coming soon!

Posted by RiCo on May-18-2004 15:55:

Well, the Delta 1010 and the 1010LT are very different. But go to http://www.8thstreet.com Those people have great prices and they ship the same day you pay them, so if you pay with a debit or credit card, they'll ship your stuff and e-mail you the tracking numer later.

http://www.8thstreet.com/instrument...udio_Interfaces

Delta 1010LT is $279.00, Delta 66 is $299.00 and the Delta 44 is $229.00. I would go for either the 44 or 66.

There's no need for the 1010 mate. You said yourself you not doing any external recording, so why do you want 10 inputs? Seems pretty silly to me mate. I would go a delta 4/4 or an audiophile if you're keen for an M-Audio card. Depends on whether or not you need midi.

Need midi & digi line ---> Audiophile
Just need a solid card --> Delta 4.4
