Math Question

Attention all math addicts. I need some help, and here are 2 problems:

1. If an n x n matrix A has at least two dependent rows, then det(A) = 0. True or False? and why?

2. Find all 3 x 3 matrices for which e is an enigenvector with associated eigenvalue "lamda" = 5

I want to get this over with. Thanks for the help, and sorry to those who get pissed at these type of threads

btw these questions are ridiculously easy for anyone who even slightly pays attention to the material thier studying

read the book, do you own hw
