What DJ's have impressed U so far this year?
For me....
Astura, Octagen, M.I.K.E., Euphonic, LoLo, Re:locate, System F and DJ Orkidea...Orkidea always catches me when I am not expecting it ; )
Not exactly in any order by the way.
havent seen too many.. but Ferry and Armin i liked better than PVD
PVD has really impressed me since Summer Stage of last year. I thought is set was ok at SS, but I think his best set since then was Roxy on 2-27. AVB was good at Roxy on 4-9. The DJ that impressed me the most was Sander @ Space during the WMC. I didn't even bother listening to Tiesto that night, Sander was just that good.

Adam Sheridan/monika Kruse have thrown down some sick sets. Same with Chris Liebing, even though i cant really take him for more then 2 hours. w00t!
PvD has been ridiculous since Summerstage IMO...his set last Nov at the Roxy was redonkulous and his Space set at WMC was off the wall..he played awesome trance...Super 8 - Alba, Loves Comes Again, Holding Onto Nothing...etc.
Danny Howells last arc set was one for the books and I'd have to say the best set I have heard in recent years and maybe even the best party I have ever been to was Sander's Space Terrace set at this years WMC.
this year... ferry. carl cox. sasha. and there's no way i can forget danny howells.
Tony Burt, his tranceairwaves set was fkin mindblowing. for real
ferry, carl cox, christian smith, danny howells, dan sampson, Infected Mushroom, Adam Freeland 
howells!!!

and Misstress BarBara @ ARC were the only 3 to impress me this year...
I would have ot say Arturo B. and Victor Dinaire so far have really set me up for a great year thus far. A lot of local Dallas DJs have impressed me as well.
So far it's been a great year for music, I hope it doesn't stop anytime soon!
PVD (only from November tho), RANK 1...and Sasha. AVB was pretty good -- but these 3 events were better. Personally i would include Ferry (from hearing his sets they were siiick -- and i have always loved his parties da BEST) but i have yet to go to one of his events since September 2003 Labour of Love - SUXORS...
hmmz Tiesto COULD be on this list soon enuff...if he doesnt disappoint wid his upcoming tour...i do like his new stuff so we'll see
None really blew me away THAT much. I had some fun nights, my favorite night of the year so far was Junkie XL @ Avalon. JXL owned me hard.

For some reason I just cant get into PVD...his stuff is somewhat mediocre to me. Unless someone can suggest like a really mindblowing track that can change my mind. I am the type that likes hard melodic trance...i dont like lyrics most of the time unless they kick ass and have a good voice behind them , and I hate repetativeness

PvD is bland and boring. In February 65% of his set was standard typical... who gives a crap stuff... than 20% when he dropped the hard stuff which I did enjoy - The other 15% were some older classics which were cool.
it really wasnt 2 standard, but you can think what u want...
SASHA AND DIGWEED AT CROBAR!!! Hands down best set in a long time....

also Victor Dinaire, Mykal Matters, missress barbara, Dj Tek, bobby bolker and Alex Pearce have really done it for me.

if you know me well (very few people do).... hopefully with this summer some TAs will get to know me a bit more.... you'd know its VERY hard to impress me....
armin hasnt REALLY impressed me... some of sets were great... but i would not go all the way to say its impressive... tiesto has been a huge dissapointment... pvd was aite... oakenfold a dissapointment this year.... markus schulz was aite... johan gielen and corsten dissapointed me...
