Dear Michael Woods,

Please make more chillout tracks, whether they be originals or remixes.

Sincerely,
Your Fans

(I think the smiley at the end is gonna make this happen )

You think Accadia productions and Michael Woods Chillout Remixes are cheesy? I certainly hope that's not what you're trying to convey, because if you are, the little credibility that someone named "sandstorm" holds is now gone.

Current Top 5
1. Nikola Gala :: Swing To Harmony
2. DJ Tiesto :: Forever Today
3. Luke Chable :: Melburn
4. Agnelli & Nelson :: Holding on to Nothing (Agnelli & Nelson Chillout Mix)
5. DJ Tiesto :: Sweet Mysery

explains enough 2 me, and if you think everything Michael Woods produces isnt cheeze then sorry...

i personally think these are great prog tracks...what exactly do you find wrong with em'?
Warrior - X is not too shabby from Woods i think, and his remix of Gamemaster 2003 is rather nice as well imo

I know that you lack the reading comprehension of a two-year-old, but I clearly stated that I enjoyed Michael Woods' chillout productions, none of which are cheesy.

Some of those tracks are more cheesier than Michael Woods older stuff. Go listen to his Accadia alias and weep. It's what proper trance is.

Love Michael Woods

Accadia Into The Dawn & Blind Visions is all class.

& top producer, some of my favs from him

Salt Tank - Eugina (Michael Woods Remix)

M1 - Heaven Sent

Warrior - Warrior

not cheesy in my book....

Posted by JulieFirefly on May-18-2004 12:27:

Woods is very cheesy if you ask me. Have you heard that horrible remix of candeejay? The original Warrior "Warrior" track was good (still cheese, but good cheese), but nearly everything since then isn't
I also find his chillout mixes unimaginative. Gabriel & dresden are much better at that sort of thing...

HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO

I SAID HIS CHILLOUT PRODUCTIONS AND REMIXES WERE NOT CHEESEY, I DIDNT MENTION ANYTHING ELSE HE HAS DONE

Posted by Wretched on May-18-2004 21:57:

Gabriel and Dresden has one chillout mix and it's just the Sweeping Strings with different intrsuments

meanwhile Michael Woods remixes Saints & Sinners - Peace into one of the best chillout trance tracks ever, and it sounds NOTHING like the original

you got it wrong. He didn't say they are cheeze. He said they are Extra Sharp Chedder

i didnt know so much wit could be employed by two men

I like most Michael Woods chillout remixes and have about all of them on CD/12" except for the remix of Humate - Love Stimulation which never got released offcially. ANd for those who complain his chillout mixes for being unimaginitive.. they're meant for chilling out and relaxing so they really don't need to be that complex, let's leave that to the energic dancefloors. Anyway, my top 3 MW chillout mixes go something like this:

1. Energy 52 - Caf Del Mar (Michael Woods Ambient Mix) 10:22 > not my fav remix of Caf Del Mar but in top3 anyway
2. Humate - Love Stimulation (Michael Woods Remix) 8:16
3. Delerium feat. Sarah McLachlan - Silence (Michael Woods Remix) 8:05

Of Saints & Sinners - Peace my fav version is definately Oliver Lieb Remix,

Can't remember what does the (unreleased?) WOW - Mindcircus (G&D Sunrise Mix) sound like.. is it more chilled than their Club Mix.. but for now, i know only of 1 G&D chillout mix just as Wretched said so they're really not comparable in that section with Michael Woods. I think Solar Stone might be a better competitor with their works in both trance and chillout sounds.

How are nu-nrg cheeze, mabe you dont like them, but how are they cheeze? Are their melodies to complicated for you? Please enlighten me with examples. Mabe you hate them because a lot of their tracks are the same style/synths. In that case do you think helstrip is cheese, what about ralphie b, how about dj tiesto? They makeing their music to be commercial stars or something? The last time I checked the last time vandit let them out of their basement was a month ago.

I doubt that I will actually get a good responce, probably something along the lines of you dont know what your talking about, your ta name is sandstorm. I was obviousely joking about woods, so maby you should calm down a bit and take a fucking joke.

Posted by Psygnosis on May-19-2004 02:16:

haha thats what you always say when people are attacking your comments.. "i was just joking" lol

and yes Nu Nrg are cheese to a degree, so it's pretty hypocritical saying Michael Woods is cheese.

maby if you didnt just jump in, and knew why i posted in the 1st place you would take that back... but

once again

i love your reasoning, they are cheese to a degree... You people make me laugh. I never heard of a degree of commercialization/"producing as a cash crop" Michael Woods has a tun of great productions, but does have his cheeze, m1...and some bad vocal remixes Ian Van Dahl...ROTFL

Posted by Wretched on May-19-2004 03:38:

Ok, you're obviously ignorant. I said his chillout productions and remixes. M1 is not chillout. Warrior is not chillout.

And Nu-NRG has complicated melodies? HAHAHAHAHAHA

Posted by PETRAN on May-19-2004 04:05:

nu-nrg- now what do u thing by just looking at this band's great name, are their productions cheesey or not?!?
