Also the ITM review from the night can be found here:

I'll post a link to the TranceTribe one when it is up

Photo's are ok, some good ones of the lighting, would have been cool if there were some more of the DJs in action though. Jumping Jack bears a striking resemblance to James Mathison from channel v. Review was very good.

It's a nice review. It's a pity though that he entirely missed the other sets e.g. sets by James vs Sel, Rob Noble, and especially Scott Richardson which I think was one of the best of the night. I would've wanted to know what he thought of them.

yeh.. I heard that Scott guy like knows how to play some choons hehe

thanks hyper

funny I always get left out of the ITM reviews.. or I get told I mix like shit... contrary to the live recording from the night muwahaha!

ahh I love myself too much... jeezus I'm so pissed.... goodnight!

"There is NOTHING as fullfilling as being in love with yourself."

I just found that in the inthemix forums.

hey guys

i would have loved to have gotten more shots of the dj's.. unfortunatly due to the large amount of smoke in the club most of the shots i got didn't turn out unless i got really really close.. i tried to get more shots of the lighting 'cause for me it was one of the highlights of the night

Posted by Hyperdimension on May-25-2004 12:08:

Yeah I agree there was too much smoke, it was coming out from the front under the front stage. I was going to ask to turn it off (or down) if that was possible, but didn't get around to doing it... I was having too much fun.

For those who haven't read it yet, my formal review is on trancetribe. Check it out if interested.

Jumping Jack also bears a striking resemblance to that cocksucker who pressed stop on the cdj to Tiesto while adagio for strings was playing. Oh wait, that was jumping jack.

hey dude, try using photoshop or the likes to reduce the brightness and increase the contrast, gets rid of most smoke... Also try different flash settings, usually Night Flash (Moon in a square on most cameras) works a treat even in smoke filled rooms .. but hold that camera steady

Here's some of your photos (Sorry i was bored and decided to have a play ) Of course, they're only rough and i'd fine tune them more .. but a bit of a helpful starter for ya

most of the photos i post on in the mix for the various gigs i take photos at are edited in photo shop first .. (i don't add things like glare etc, just change colours and brightness !) and look much better than the originals

Example 1

-40 bright, +30 contrast

Example 2

Can't remember the settings on this one

Example 3

Change the colour saturations per channel
