well, I'd enter, but I spin techno, and techno doesn't have a place on GDJB, so what's the point

Who says techno doesn't have its place on GDJB?, The show has featured Techno DJs before, Like Sven Vath, Richie Hawtin, And Mauro Picotto.

Are you leaning in favor of any genres in particular?

If you read the rules of the contest, They acept all genre of EDM, Even if its techno, The key thing is, Track selection, Mixing, And Creativity, If your going to do a techno set, You have to make it sound very good so the set flows really well, They don't judge the contest on who has the best trance or progressive set, Its all on how the set flows, Regardless if its techno.

Alright. Btw, is it one entry per DJ? Or can you send in multiple mixes.

Nope, you can only send one mix, When you send it, Make sure you send it with a tracklist on it as well.

mix

do you have to be using vinyl, or can you use software for mixing, like Traktor DJ studio?

they wouldn't have any way of really telling i guess. but you think you can make a better set on traktor DJ studio than a real DJ can with 2 decks an a mixer?
