Numark cdn 90 problem
Ive got the numark cdn 90 for over a year now wit a pair of tech 1210's. wen I mix my trance cd's on the 90's durin the mix from tranck A to B, Track B or A suddenly jumps a beats and it goes all off track.. at first I to its my cd's but it happens eva soo often. is there a solution to it.. and are teh cdj-1000 also like tht
Maybe try going to www.numark.com. They have a link there that will allow you to pose your question/problem directly to one of their tech's. I've used that feature a few times and they've always been quick to respond (via e-mail).
I also have the CDN-90 but have never experienced the problem you are having. Hope it works out ok for ya.
Play the tracks out by themselves. Sometimes (especially with burned CDs from mp3s) the song will have little blips or skips in them. Trust your ears that you know when things are going off, and when they go off that fast, you know something must of skipped.
what speed have you burnt the cds at? i have noticed that my cd deck sometimes skips a little bit on cd's that i did at 24x, it reccommends in the users manual to burn at as low speed as you can..
failing that you can always try upgrading the software in the unit to the newest version (available form the numark website).
also you may want to try getting one of those laser cleaning kits..?
I record at 52x frm nero, wht speed do U suggest.

I would also suggest mastering your audio if your playing it out at a venue or anything, or even for your own home, to get rid of the Hiss and to get rid of any pops or crackles.
