what a wonderful night. I was impressed with every TA DJ last night- you guys certainly rose to the occassion!
A huge thank you to john and Emery who made this night and this whole year of incredible nights happen. You guys put your heart and soul into this. John: you took a huge risk on this a year ago- i have nothing but love and respect for you!
and another thing: it is so awesome to see what a tight unit the TOTA's are. You guys are so awesome for coming out to support eachother- and it's not just in ppl coming out- it's everything. Like TA DJ's playing TA producer's stuff out and the DJ's supporting eachother. I feel honoured to be part of such an amazng group.

nice job john and emery. hope you drew enough to get main room again. i just wonder how many drinks alex passed over to you john? you didn't look so good as the night progressed. especially that pinkish drink.
hope you all had fun. TA djs looked quite comfortable representing in the main room. hope you get the chance to do it again.
I had to take off early to go to another club before I called it a night but holy shit, it looks packed in there! Congrats John and Emery, and all the DJs, you pulled it off!
(must say I'm a little envious of those DJ booth pics! lol

What an amazing night, thanks to John & Emery!! You guys have worked so hard, and you got the proper turnout and the proper vibe to reflect it. Big ups!! Boh Boh!!
When I arrived outside at 11:30, the VIP lineup was all the way up the street to the corner, and the regular line was long also. I had to doubletake, thinking that there must be some big headliner to draw a crowd that big. Nope, it was the 1NT3RF3R3NC3 DJS!!!! System was packed, and the people came to dance.
The Music / DJs
The tunes were flowing all night, right from the first second I walked in. Schryer & Aaron Mossey tore it up, getting me moving early and everyone else too. Schryer....dude, Outhouse is pure you. Hearing you play that got me so pumped, that was your moment. Then Deepgroove & Vagrant mesmorized us with some sick ass prog & tech. Matt.... the first tech track you played....so dirty, so good. And Pearl Jam (I think) layered with some sick beats was phenominal. You held that mix perfectly for minutes. I thought it was only one record ... Then the surprize of the night........DEKO-ZE. He went absolutely nuts, dropping some heavy techno and bangin his head around like it wasn't attached to his neck. (Baguette, Murder was the Bass, Just Kick....all favorites). Deko-ze... Start to finish, there is no comparison. M�bius & Fuzion followed up hard, then bringing it down with some trance. M�bius....what a build with Obsession (frank Biazzi mix). There was so much energy, not even you could control yourself Then ESO and myself closed the night, banging it even harder! I thought ESO played amazing...its always great to hear him play techno Maybe more in the future? ESO...its such a pleasure to play with you. You help make me a better DJ, and you will always be my favorite.
It was also great to hear some TOTA production talent....Breaks remix of BT- Remember (Max Q & LKD Mix), and unknown techno track (Waxen vocal).
The Crowd
The vibe was top notch from the very first miniute. Lots of TAs out supporting, and lots of System regulars who were beaming over how fun the night was. It was great to see some of my high school friends out (thanks for staying to hear me spin). And to all the new Tranceaddict recruits....sign up, and be a part of the magic
Thanks to all my special friends to came to see us play. Some of you came from very far away and I really appreciate that. I wouldn't be where I am now without my friends supporting me, so thank you.

That is the reason why the 1NT3RF3R3NC3 1yr anniversary was such a success. Great job to everyone involved with the night...I bet another System main room night isn't too far away.

So Mr. TECHno addict is just exiting on Spadina when his cell phone rings. Its the alarm monitoring system operater - "Mr. Button, there is a reported break in at your store, we need you to go to the scene." Fuck me i say to myself, so at 11:00 im doing a u-turn back home. I get to the "scene" and it turns out my fuckin manager left the back door open and the wind set off the alarms. I wait for the cops to arrive, and at this point its just after midnight. I had to work at 8 this morning, so i said fuck it and went home. I appologize to John & Em and all the kick ass dj's that i missed lastnight. It looks like it was a huge success, and it doesnt surprise me you got the crowd reaction you received. I guess ill just have to come for the next Interference party, as im sure there will be one in the near future. See you all at Freedom.

first & foremost congratulations to john for a great night!!! your hard work & dedication definitely proved itself lastnight...
i hardly dance when there is a headliner but lastnight i couldnt stop moving.....even since the very beginning (it had to have been the alcohol cuz those 2 opening GINO DJ'S definitely didnt do it for me................................................HAHAHAHAHA!!!!) kidding, you guys played amazing! infact all of the dj's played great. but the hightlight of the night was when mike schryer put his hand up kinda like telling aaron to wait...then 5 seconds later he starts pounding that fist.....when i saw that it was --->
it was great seeing all of your smiley faces! i was extremely blown away but the strong commitment that TA showed lastnight! it was extremely wonderful & very touching to see all those in the front room congratulating John on a job well done! you guys have a strong bond and its absolutely brilliant!
instead of naming everyone i hung out with ill just say that all of you i met, saw and hung out with made my night a joyous one....
congrats again to all of you involved and to all of the TA supporters!

I can't move... because last night I did not stop dancing for one second, until my feet mutinied and would dance no more.
The music was brililant. Definitley an amazing time that anyone who missed it should feel ashamed and/or cheated Thanks to all the awesome people who made my night!

As usual John and Emz, you guys through a MASSIVE party.
Thank yous are in order for everytime and all the time. You gentelman are a corner stone of this scene. Its hard to bring a sense of family when your just constantly meeting strangers. Cheers to you John for making these gatherings more then just another party.

Schryer, I knew after hearing you at La Rouge that you and Mossey would make a good team but even I was unprepared for the versus set you guys delivered. Mike, thanks for the Hoochie Koochie and Girls Can Be Cruel Don't think you could have served up a better track to set up Mossey's last breaks track. Really looking forward to hearing you two spin together again soon.
Vagrant and Deep Groove - unbelievable performance. Felt like I had boxed a few rounds after your set...had my fists pumping the entire time! If you had given me a few more hours I surely would have walked out of the club with the Madonna arms I have always wanted. Awesome set!
Mobius and Cinar - I must say I was really impressed with how you guys tagged onto Dekoze's pounding performance. Cinar, I luv you for dropping "Dustsucker". I am still groovin' to it now and Mobius, everytime I thought I might be getting tired you pulled me back onto the dancefloor..thanks for that. Cheers to you both for a fine performance.
24-7 and ESO - Spending all night on the dance floor supporting your fellow DJ mates and then being able to hit the decks at 5:00am with that kind of energy and enthusiasm is TRULY inspiring. One cannot help but smile when watching you both up there loving so very much what you do. I left the dance floor around 6:15am, crippled. Looking forward to your track list as there are many tunes I would love to relive.
And most importantly...JOHN and EMERY - Thanks for the fabulous night and all the hard work it took to put this night and all of the other parties from this past year together. The TA peeps cannot tell you enough how much it has meant to all of us. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY INT3RF3R3NCE!
What an awesome night. ..great music..great people...good times....i dont know if it was just me..but there was a strong sense of unity last night (theres always that feeling when partying with TA's, but last night was a bit more elevated)..were proud of u John and Emz. Keep up the good work.
PS: look on John's face when he got the Mp3 deck = priceless!!
awesome night. I think we've all come to expect that from any TA-driven party night. The DJs and their sets were fabulous, the drinks were good, the venue was shnazzy, the ladies were pretty, and the company was friendly.... what more could ya ask for??!!!!
Congrats to Interference productions for 1 year of absolute euphoric success, and I can't wait to see what this year holds.
All the sets were recorded just fine. The first set of the night lost about 10 minutes of time though, due to tape problems, but it was gonna get lost when put to CD anyways. I have to thank the crowd-massif so much for such a loud reaction all night... my meters were peaking when you guys were w00ting and yelling "TUNE!" (*ahem* RJ *cough*), but that's what I was looking for to get the live feel of the recording. And a big thanx to the DJs for being so cool with everything going on in the booth!
I'm gonna start mixing and mastering each tape/set and get them up on 2HP.ca radio ASAP, where you'll hear exclusive full-recorded length of the sets, as opposed to the CD versions which are limited to 80 mins, that is if the set passed 80 mins.
Great to see every1 out again.. so many nice ppl.. respect yo!

Last night was an amazing night! Great vibe, great music....it was perfect. One of the best parties I've been to in a long time. Long live the tranceaddict community or rather family, because it seems like we've all become one big family of friends, this was certainly evident during the touching gift presentation to John. Thank you John for everything you've done for out community and thank you to everyone you made last night such a success.
Aaron and Mike we're absolutely amazing, they had the place jumping right off the start, great mixing and co-ordination on the 4 decks!
Deepgroove and Vagrant pounded out some massive prog choons and set the crowd up nicely for Deko-ze to murder us all with some hard dirty tunes.
Deko-ze was a tough act to follow and finishing off with Baguette made it really tough for me to play Max & LKD's mix, but I played it anyways because I knew how much it meant for the both of you to hear it. I apologize to both of you and to everyone for butchering the mix out of your track, and for a somewhat sloppy first 15 min of mine and Cinar's set, but we had some issues before we got on the decks, and both of us were REALLY REALLY AGGRAVATED and it took us a little while before we got back on track.
Rich & Eso - WOW!!!! You guys drained whatever little energy was left in us with some hard techno. Good stuff!
P.S. Thanks to the boys(RJ, Rob, Frank, Mike) for taking care of my woman during my set, apparently she was a popular target last night lol!
Oh man, what a night!! Firstly, John and Emz, thanks for all your hard work. We wouldn't have had this awesome night if it weren't for your tireless efforts. Things will just keep getting bigger and better, I'm sure of it. Hope you like the deck John, we got extended warranty so don't be afraid to crank that shit up.
The TOTA DJs' were on fire last night!! Mike and Aaron you guys sure know how to get the party started. Great tag-teaming guys, I would love to see more of this in the future. Vagrant... wow!! Nothing like good prog set to get the blood pumping. Deep Groove, good job as always. Deko-ze, what can I say? This mofo had me wanting to pound the dance floor to death. ohhh my poor legs. Next came Cinar and Carlos with a great trance set. My legs were thanking you guys for the smooth set after the pounding courtesy of Deko-ze. And last but not least we have Rich and Peter to bring the night to a close. Great hard trance set to get all those exhausted bodies jumping again. Good track selection and crowd interaction by all the DJs. A big thank you goes out to each of you.
Systems always has a great vibe but yesterday it was through the roof. Pure craziness I tell ya!! Great seeing all the TAs out in full force even though it is a long weekend and there are many other parties around town. I'm glad to see what a tight bunch we are. /me sheds a tear. Overall great night and best wishes to 1NT3RF3R3NC3 and the DJs. See ya'll at the next party!!
