scott Bond question

Scott bond question
I am thinking about going to see him but now i cant remember what his selection is like.

Is he closer to the hard dance side of trance like eddie halliwell and adam sheridan or more like hard trance like K90 and scott project or cheesy like Mario Pui and judge jules.

For some reason I thought this eddie halliwell set i had was by scott bond and now i am all confused. That and all my GC experiences kinda blend into one so i cant really remember his sets

cheers

swilly

While we're on this very mature topic may I just point out that "swilly" is also an anagram of "willys".

he's generally pretty pumping though.. not too pansy at all.

Posted by mike_stefan69 on May-23-2004 09:50:

he's very consistent, ive seen him 5 times in the last year and he's always been very good

Posted by tu_face on May-23-2004 10:49:

in my experience, it very much depends on where and when he is playing.

his peak time sets are usually quite trancy but very pumping.

me wants a scott bond late set!! not seen one in years

a while back, scott was known to drop tracks like cosmosonic - alpha beta, gollum & yanny - shadows n lights, s.h.o.k.k - isnt it all a little strange?, and im sure i heard once drop angel of death - angel of death [tracid mix] but wee're talking like 3 years ago now.

but yeah id say scotts mainly trance but on a slightly stronger tip.. no pansy ass cheesewank

aye, he mixes in the odd smidgen of tech trance and not so gash hard trance to make it more interesting.

but definatly a more pumping style of trance. which is mint

I cant say I have any cause to complain about any of Bondys performances that Ive been witness to!

I'd have to agree, seen him a few times and he's been rather good.

I remember this, kinda around the time he did his EM. I remember he banged out Extreme Traxx - Don't Stop which is a chown!

i started clubbing when i firts heard him play stuff liek this and i fuckign loved it, still do, but there isnt really that sort of tunage around for him these days. dont forget miss shiva - dreams (cosmic gate remix)

Posted by CyberTeraz on May-24-2004 22:44:

He used to play that tune with the U2 Sample in it. From where the streets have no name, the opening part of it. That is an emotional, if not very cheesy tune. But I love it.

Posted by magnasoma on May-26-2004 13:28:

His Ahead set is so very very very close to the set Solarstone played, which he took over from, last time i saw him in London. So yeah, not bad, not massively exciting either.

On the plus side, if you're seeing him in a primetime slot, its more than likely he'll start with Jump the next train and then go in to White room, which is a frikkin euphoric way to spend ten/fifteen minutes in my book.

Posted by tu_face on May-26-2004 15:35:

you can usually tell when scott bond gets on the decks, when the bpm goes up by about 10

oooo i cant fucking wait now!
