club decks

what model technics do clubs usually have in their dj booths?

Most seem to stick with the old mk2's and haven't bothered upgrading because those things are so solid

Yea, I really have only seen the mk2s also. Most of them in the clubs I have been in were 1210s. I guess everyone prefers black.

Just so you know man, you can get the 1200s in black, thats what I got, the 1210 mainly mean they have a 110v/220v converter in them.

indeed, I am soon to be a proud owner of some black 1200's.

I prefer the m3d's with the clickless pitch. Unfortunately most clubs tend to sport the ones with click.

actually i think the 1210 also designates the black color...i could be wrong though.

Only played few times out and all clubs had mk2's. I saw only once m3d. All decks were good and pitch was working very well, but i was still nice to play on m3d.

Oh shit, here we go again with the 1200 vs 1210 debate. You know what, nevermind. I won't even start.

Posted by opianstate on May-23-2004 10:18:

seriously, they make 1200s in black. 1210 designates the voltage switch. for some reasons most 1210s are made in black so they are confused for being the only black technics. I will send pics if you dont believe me.

Please do. Not because I don't believe you, but because I have NEVER seen a black 1200.
