Need HELP! How to Master the sound for a recorded set!
i already searched for this topic, but i couldn't find anything other than mastering eq for music production...i donno if thats the same thing
im making my promo mix this month, but how do u master the sound of the set to make it sound like a "LIVE" mix, & cd quality like before i burn it into CD????
this is urgent, plz help me on this thanx
Mastering is mastering. Same deal applies to a mix and music production, only instead of mastering individual instrumental tracks, you're mastering a big mixdown.
then, how do u master a mixed set.....to make it sound like a "LIve recorded set"

| Originally posted by humgalin if u ever realize this, alot of the live sets at 192 kbps sound way more better than the ones at same bitrate we record at home. most of the live sets sound much more **round, more echoing sounds, and hv the big room feel**.....its not the needle, and im sure they hv mastered the recorded set before they put it for download or something is there any programs i can do that?? |
nah it wouldn't make the mix more muddy.
i hv jsut asked a producer about this problem i want to work around with, and he said.......it needs programs like cubase to edit the sound to make it more live feel, and much more clearer.
thats why most recorded set needs to be "mastered" to make it cd quality-like before they're burned into cd for sales.
but the problem now is how do u do that? i guese i need to get this done by someone who produce music
