Smoking ..umm..something WRONG FORUM!!!

yeah... this is for AMATEUR posts...geez.

We don't stand a chance with this kinda stuff on here...now do us a favour and click that EDIT/DELETE post button.

Seriously, though...I wanna throw out my cd's cuz this one has some MAJOR POST PROD SKILLZ IN EFFECT!! what you use to do the mastering?

BRILLIANT! Melody could be catchier in spots...at 5:00 I wanted more tunage. I love the "alien whale calls" bit!

As far as constructive criticism goes... all I can say is "why are you here...go find a bigger venue." You should be famous already. Hey...you said you only thought this up since talking to Massive 2 WEEKS AGO!!! That means you did this in under 2 weeks?

I HATE YOU!

[of course I dont...but Im jealous as hell...you been at it long?]

Please give me hope! LOL

mint sounds! melody is good!

kick is very nice, bass could be still better, but don't worrie about it

mixing can be better also, and reduce the main output a bit will ya?

great! break was sweet.

Anyway amazing track...

Your tracks just blow my socks off. Keep up the good work..

Thanks mef!

Thunder, glad you like them mate . Nah its not your headphones, I've noticed that the Electric Guitar FX makes some clips. I need to be carefull when EQing it .

Thanks gyus, means the world to me.

Production & Intro:

WOW - MASSIVE STUFF

Melody:

the "plucks" (and the melody they form) work great, but the main melody is abit weak in some points - but you sure can (and will ) fix it!

good luck!!!!

Posted by Elior on May-25-2004 10:55:

already replied on it..
but oh well :P

the kick at the start comes too fast..
you should do a longer intro imo..

the melody is pretty cool..really like it..
reminds me of G&M Project...

that's it
good job EM..

Hallo there Antonio!

I don't remember your stuff being this good - not that it was bad or anything just that this is a whole level up from anything you've done before. Well done sir, and on getting this signed.

To the track - I like this very much, very dreamy and clear. I'm struggling with stuff at the moment as the high end on my speakers is caning my ears (M-audio BX8's). Very full in your stereo mix - I shall be re-evaluating my current number. Is that dolphins I'm hearing? Very nicely packed tune mate. Great and dreamy tune, suits the style well.

Would love to hear this in context, not sat behind my desk. Sometimes I wish I could drive just to listen to music while driving!!

Great stuff.

Just hope i can one day produce something like this!!!

Ben

That sounds fantastic, your production skills are truly great. Your song has an excellent punch and drive to it. I wasn't terribly keen on the melody but am most likely in the minority on that point. You've been making music for quite a while i'm guessing?

Posted by EternalMusic on May-30-2004 07:19:

Hey thanks!

Well i started playing around with Fruityloops when i was 15 but got serious about it last year (when i was 16, now im 17). Thanks for liking it!

Cheers everybody!

P.S - Hadi you better not forget

Posted by capricorn15 on Jun-03-2004 07:19:

this song is really good, i like it a lot
the bassline kind of sounds like a planisphere song, deep blue dream, just that synth is the same it think.
i like the lead into the breakdown
pads on the breakdown are especially nice.
good special fx
awesome build up
bass is bit loud at the climax, might want to fix the levels
really like this one. it is like trance from a few years ago when i used to like it

Posted by EternalMusic on Jun-03-2004 08:22:

Hey!
Sure you can , and thanks.

Posted by Subtle on Jun-03-2004 09:46:

plus
cool effects
good percussion
I love the breakdown (!)
nice melody
nice lift-off
love the melody

minus
a little intense
first melody maybe 10-20% too high
needs a little cleaning maybe
the outro is a little long
was excpecting another breakdown and lift off..

conclusion
there sure is an awesome melody, and very good synths, very good arrangement, with som pretty cool effects.. some small adjustments and mastering and this is sure as hell an outstanding tune.. I think this tune needs to be about 9 minutes with 2 breakdowns..

keep it going

9/10
