Video Games
I haven't had time to play video games this past 2 yrs. Just wondering what System you guys like for the home console ?
PS2
Xbox
GameCube
i have completely stopped playing too in the last 3-4 years. We have the 3 consoles at home and I prefer XBOX from the 3.
but, my PC is still king because of the kinds of games I like to play.
I have a Gamecube, but all 3 consoles have their share of good games.
PS2 for a console,
PC to dominate all.
WoW BABY!!!!!!
(World of Warcraft) can't wait
definitely PC, i mean games like Farcry, Painkiller or D00M 3, unmatcheable in 1st person shooter games!
all consoles have their good games but i think Gamecube is a lot more promising. Nintendo is still the first & original!
yeh for all the money ur goin to spend on games for consoles, u mite as well and build a new comp
the ability to throw an IDE harddrive into the Xbox and use the evolutionX OS puts that system on the top rite now despite whatever cosmetic enhancements and FinalFantasy blah blah comes the way of the PS2..
too bad i hardly play video games anymore!
I voted for PS2 becuase that's all I have, but I have played all three. I hate Gamecube with a passion, I only think it's somewhat worth it for the Mario games.
For people with PS2, or PS1...are there any Tekken players out there?

PS2 all the way.
The game selection is arguably the greatest of the three, and you can get it modded really cheap now. So if before you paid 200 for the console and then shelled out 70 for each game now its 350 or so for the console with a mod chip and 10-15 for each game, and even cheaper if you got your own dvd burner and a blockbuster membership.
I play games rarely now, but PC still reigns supreme (and probably always will)
Final Fantasy XI
Dungeon Siege
Priston Tale
Unreal Tournament
Doom 3 (when its done)
Half-Life 2 (when its done)
Freespace 2
Need for Speed: High Stakes (owns Underground HARD)
Battlezone
System Shock 2
Anachronox
Grim Fandango
just to start...
if u wanna play games competatively, you have to go for pc, out of consoles, id go for ps2 tho, since it games are unmatched by any other system (at least it used to be this way, not sure anymore)

You wont get a decent computer for double the amount of a the most costly console. PC pisses all over any console. Graphic detail is just beautiful(PS2 version of final fantasy online is a frigging joke). I only like consoles for the big screen advantage..plus you can play with friends in the living room or whatever. And in that case, I would prefer the xbox. Play xbox in high-def and you wont go near a ps2 again |
^^
I never disagreed that PC was a lot better as far as gaming choices, I was just pointing out that there is a big price difference between a console and a kick-ass PC system
