heaven - tiesto -trance or women?!

i was at gatecrasher at heaven friday night. what a great set by tiesto the man is a living legend. but before he came on i had a big f*** off argument with my bird. im 19 and shes 18 and she knew that if she stormed off id have to follow to look after her. all my mates were fuming and i ended up paying 40 quid to get her and her mate bak in after paying once already. absolutely fuming now. any thoughts?

So what's the question? Is it an argument over whether the music or the woman is more important?

If so, I'd say stay for the music. You're girlfriend is 18, she's old enough to take care of herself. If she storms out, then clearly she's not too eager to listen to the music (or she's mad enough that her emotions are the prerogative in her decision). Either way, it's not your responsibility to follow her around and make sure she's okay. Sure, if she would break up with you if you didn't then that's another matter, but then perhaps you wouldn't want to be with a girl like that anyways. Especially since you had to pay another 40 pounds (quid?). That's like $60. That's outrageous. Make her pay herself! One entry, one payment is good enough of an effort on your part. She shouldn't make you pay double just because she's in a bad mood and goes outside.

Firstly, 40 quid to get in is a f*cking RIP-OFF and I wouldn't have payed that, Tiesto or no Tiesto... secondly, if my bird did that to me, unless I was completely and utterly in love with her or there was a genuine and unavoidable reason that meant she had to leave the club, I would tell her to f*ck off and find herself a boyfriend who can afford to be completely wasteful with his money.

Then there's the ultimate question.... why did you have the argument that triggered the events of the night off? and could it have been avoided?

its not really a question more getting it off my chest and seeing what everyine else thinks. she is a little naive for an 18 yr old and she came with her friend lauren who is 16 but i get along with. they said they were going to the toilet but were gone for almost 45 mins so we all went searching for them shitting ourselves that something had happened and when i found em i shouted at her. she threw a wobbly and went off again. once again me and my mates spent 45 mins searching and panicking until i phoned them, realised they were goung home and had to tell them to come back. me and my friends knew it was too dangerous for 2 young girls to go home that time of night alone so it was my only option unless i wanted to go home and ruin my mates night. so instead i payed 20 each for the girls to get back in and we all ended up having a quality night.whats your thoughts guys?

Dont argue with women its pointless, they are always right apparently and no amount of shouting is going to change that.

It sometimes annoys me when people take their private lives out into clubs and stuff, but thats just my opinion. Go out to party

i hardly wanted an argument mate. weve been together 2 yrs and ive lost count of the things ive done wrong

I wouldn't have taken her with me if she didn't like the music that much. People who don't like the music always fuck up the party for you in some way.

So what did they do in that 45 mins in the club?

Posted by dan_Saviola on May-26-2004 00:56:

queued for the over crowded toilet apparently. i was just worried about them but women have to show off and moan

Let her fuk off - go and enjoy Tiesto.

I shall keep that in mind. I am thiking of taking my friend to go see Van dyk. But still thinking it over.

consider it carefully my friend, they always wanna cause arguments.they never understand when things mean a lot to you, and they know how to push your buttons.she knew that if she walked out i couldnt just leave her in central london at 2 am .theyre not stupid

If she was a decent and understanding girlfriend she wouldn't compromise your chance to see Tiesto. I'd have let her fuck off and enjoyed Tiesto as best I could. Bitch

Posted by Wildfir3 on May-27-2004 21:57:

then again, wouldn't be much fun when u heard the next day she was raped and murdered, would it

u did the right thing, but i wouldn't feel like taking her to parties like that anymore.

Agreed, you did the right thing but NEVER bring people who doesn't enjoy this music to live sets. I'm 30 and I quit bringing my girlfriend 7 years ago (she's my wife now and it works fine like this, and tonight I'm off to Tiesto here in Denver...without her ofcourse).

Just keep'em away from ruining dear moments.

I second norgee's policy. No_one would ever be called wise to take me to heavy metal live concert now would one? I have alike arrangement with my better half, though we are not married yet. This arragnement works out well, actually better than one could except.

Off topic: Yippee! I just got my self grabbing a Ferry live set to work with headphones *mmmmm*.

BTW....Tiesto was great here in Denver. Absolutely wicked!

Played a splendid mix of old and new. Top moment of devine pleasure.

And hey...no woman by my side.......what you reakon'?

Cheers
