alright what do you need to know...
NOT'S
-not our annual bbq
-not an age restricted event
-not a ridiculous cover charge
-not a rave
-not a pet show
-not a water gun fight
IS
-is going to have a bbq
-is going to be for all ages
-is FREE
-is a party
-is welcome to ur pets
-is fun for everyone!
A VERY BIG BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION TO AKKO (Babytek on TA or her nickname PIKLZ)
I BETTER SEE EVERYONE THERE
ok you wankers and wankerette's this is plain and simple...
we are going to bring a grill (not the 5' one from july 4th)
so if you want to bring some food to grill please do so
but remember we aint got space for 50 burgers...
if you have portable grills and are willing to bring
to cook ur own food + others we encourage to do so...
please bring the necessities for hangin out in the park..
beach chairs, towels to lay in the grass, frisbee's, footballs,
coolers w/drinks, etc...
alcohol u can bring on ur own discretion but i wouldnt know
what bbq taste like without beer?

DIRECTIONS~! (pls dont blame if my directions are not "exact")
FROM EAST
take L.I.E west to exit 22
take van wyck expressway south (towards JFK Airport)
to get to the van wyck from the LIE, you will exit the ramp
and stop at a light, make a left at that light
and follow signs to Van Wyck South / JFK Airport
after the left you will pass another light
and go straight as the road bends to the right
the bend will be an onramp to the van wyck which will look like a service road...
on this service road you will find an entrance to Flushing Meadows Park.
There will be large parking lot where the boat house is...we are walking distance from there...
FROM WEST
take L.I.E east to exit 22
take van wyck south (towards JFK Airport)
and follow directions above..

We will be located at a part of the park which is by the lake. This part of Flushing Meadows Park is not on the same side where the infamous "Globe" is located. That is on the north side of the LIE. The lake is just south of the LIE, between the Van Wyck Expressway and the Grand Central Expressway. And does not go further than Jewel Ave exit. If you pass Jewel Ave you have gone too far. So basically the lake is between L.I.E and Jewel Ave, and Van Wyck Exp and Grand Central Exp. Those mentioned above are parallel to each other..i hope this was as straight-forward as I could make it...
We have time to sort this out..just wanted to get you guys the info asap....i hope everyone will come out to enjoy this onE~!

i hope people show up to this...afterall its STRICTLY for you people - there is no club cost no entrance fee...tfst.nyc is taking the whole cost for this, it would be a shame if people didnt come...i guess the true colors will show about people's "preference" over the actual music...support the local scene guys...its in the park which is free, and its the best that edm has to offer...i hope everyone see's light in this, if not then its pointless for people to organize free events...heh

Not to be racist or anything...hopefully the mexicans, or the indians(I AM INDIAN) wont be playing soccer and cricket, respectively.
Flushing Meadows Park is huge, where exactly, what is the proxmity from the globe?
I doubt people will be playing anything when they get slammed with the beats.
Im bringing a beach chair, some tanning oil, and a water gun, for those of you that get out of line!

ok, i wanted to get that clear.. we WILL be having THAT as well.. this is to CELEBRATE AKKO'S BIRTHDAY and to kick off the summer season properly with friends and music under the sun.. whatever you guys wanna contribute to the cause is welcome unless of course its illegal. 
i want all the queens tas in full effect as well as everyone else.. everybodys' welcome and groove with us this is will be just a sampler to the big one coming up next month so come early, dress comfortably and just be ready to have a great time.. no other way to describe it.. anytime you can have EDM played by DJs under the sun in summertime is something you shouldnt miss nuff said. see all of you on June 5th. Saturday.. and dont forget to wish Akko happy birthday when you arrive ~
Queens is bit of a trek for me but I'm gonna try my best to make it out to this. Had a ball with you all last Friday.
i'm in; got work till 6 p.m.... i'll try to make it afterwards..
I'm not one to miss a free outdoor music event, but I'm gonna have to miss this one cuz I'll be in Israel

hmm jus realized...its my 1.5 anni wid my boi that day lol what a coincidence keke but thats nuddin compared to it being akko's bday and the fact that its gonna b a great time under da sun can't wait!!! LOL

I will! I will!, my son loves trance, he will be jumping and bouncing all over the place : ) I acutally have taken him to most of the free events in flushing meadow park before. He started dancing his ass of and all the girls were pulling out theyre camera phones to take pics of him cuz he was so cute....I hope more people bring theyre kids. The kids needs to have some fun 2 ya know : ) I will bring some glowsticks to hand out to all the children at the event : ) I have some king sized blankets. I will bring an extra one if people need places to sit. If my money is right this week I would also be willing to make some hero sandwiches or bring some munchees. See I was planning to have a picnic next monday at Flushing Meadow but since I heard about this I will just cancel and go have my picnic with you guys. I am very excited to meet everyone.
