how to split large livesets or mp3 files

If i have a large mp3 file (say a Tiesto liveset or somethin) and a cue file for it how can i split it into smaller mp3 files using the cue?

It's supposed to be a new version of CoolEdit2000, but those smart people @ Adobe added plenty of useless features, which eats a lot more system resources of course, and they even fucked up previously working things as well, such as the dB indicator at the bottom, it stops working after a few secs. use cooledit pro 2.0, its miles better

I use HJSplit. It can cut any file into the size you want.

just tell it what size...and it spits out the files like:

Original file:
AVB live in Ibiza.mp3

New file:

AVB live in Ibiza.mp3.001
AVB live in Ibiza.mp3.002...

just renampe the file and you have a cut up song, simple

i also use it to make three parts into one, so its easier to view the files on my computer
