Sean Walsh - Time Lapse (Misja Helsloot setrip)

Hey guys,

Here's my latest tune which will be forthcoming on Gesture Music. It's a full setrip from the kickoff of Misja Helsloot's "Back From Your Past" cd release tour last weekend at Asta @ The Hague.

I posted a sample of this track when I was working on it about 5 months ago or so; since then it's undergone a lot of structure changes as well as having the production beefed up significantly. Feedback appreciated as always!

Are those percussion sounds from Alba in the beginning?

Cheers man, glad you like it =) All of the percussive samples are just 909 or other miscellaneous perc samples that I've acquired from drumkits and sample sites, so nah, they weren't taken from Alba =)

bass is wicked.. at 7 minutes in this clip, the kick gets bit drowned , melody is ok, but not really my taste.

This is quality stuff, with a real edge and flavour to it, I'll deffo be getting my hands on a copy. Love that second break, kind of missed the full effect of it the first time round, absolute belter, bet you wish you saw the reaction at the event. Top stuff, and all with Buzz + VST eh?

I need some thoughts on the Driven remix but I'll PM you about that anyway.....

Yep, pretty much exclusively Spectrasonics Atmosphere actually; everything from the pads to the leads to the bass.

this track totally owns.. i played it a few times (thanks to sean) and finished a few sets with it as well.. in fact thats how it got discovered by misja helsloot, when he came over to quebec city. he came in the booth saying to me; What the hell is this track man??..
