Review: DJ Vibe @ Boa

To say the least, I was a happy man. Vibe lived up to my expectations (just based on what I'd heard about him) as did Boa. His set was a very pleasant wave to ride as it were. Plenty of energy in the house and still an incredibly friendly atmosphere even with the curious longweekend clubgoers. There was a much larger crowd than I expected which also added to the fun level. Sean Miller was good and dark as always and Vibe rocked the place on a level with DJ Chus & Ceballos last week (Though not quite as dark and tribal). He had a very "Tenaglia" sound and I hope to hear more of THAT from Boa in the future.

Went to Boa for an hour with Malek at 5am'ish. Was pleasantly surprised to see how crowded it was. It had been a while since I've been there & I got such a warm reception from staff members whom I hadn't seen in a while. Didn't know what to expect from Vibe, but it was groovy stuff. Was happy to hear Boa's crisp sound system once again- gets me pumped for next weeks set with Mr. C.

I thought Vibe played a great set satuday night. He definitely lived up to all his hype and people seemed to love him. He's a real pro at what he does and an amazing guy to boot. I had a great time hangin out....good vibes all around.

DJ Vibe plays NYC this Saturday. I want to check him out but I'd like some kind of idea of what he plays. What dj's are similar to his sound?

for the short time i was there, i had an excellent time (wish i did left guv earlier that night...)

dj vibe was good and energetic, the crowd was dancing all the time...

i have some cool pics of that night.
