Getting to know you....getting to know all about you

So being that I dont really know anyone here, I'd really love to get a sense for what other kind of music everyone is into. I'm such a huge music lover that I really have no biases (except when it comes to country). Being that I am one myself, I'm really into singer/songwriters like Tori Amos, Sarah M., Poe, Dido....and then I like everything from rock to metal to classical to indie stuff to hip hop to punk and ska, hardcore. Pretty much anything tickles my pickle (if its good)

Posted by Shamez214 on May-24-2004 20:39:

i'm the same way. fuck a genre. i dig what i dig. punk, ska, hip hop, rock, progressive, breaks, house, classical, foreign... word up

I listen to EVERYTHING! Except Country.

Lets see where my range goes... Biggy to Brian McKnight to Brian Adams to Bon Jovi to Tupac to Quiet Riot to Poison to Motley Crue to Guns n' Roses to Frank Sinatra to Dean Martin to Barry White to The Temptations to The Righteous Brother to Phil Collins to whatever... Oh yea, I also have Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, and Vivaldi on my computer. I also had Andrea Bocchelli and Charlotte Church but I think I deleted that stuff.

As for everything else about me... just click the search button.

Yea I'm really getting into some foreign stuff too. I know we are supposed to hate the french, but I love thier music! Really love french hip hop like MC Solar...even french house

Posted by phoenixBEBE on May-24-2004 21:20:

pretty much into nething also...right now mostly prog and hard trance/house, breaks, n chillout...

omg i read Tori Amos, Poe, Sarah McLachian and Dido -- they are amongst the greatest songwriters/voices out there! :-D

others: Delerium, Evanescence, Linkin Park, Enimem and most hiphop including Missy Elliott and Biggie, Heavy Metal including GNR and Metallica, and i was a total New Wave grl back in da days. I dun particularly like pop but i do LOVE ballads that sound good. which is why i find myself humming Britney Spears' "Everything" these days...

bubbleravegirl, Im sure you could sing that Britney song better than she can. My ears bled the first and last time I heard it, at this point, if the video is on, I just mute it and watch. I probably wouldnt recognize Britney walking down the street without a green 'Mute' thing in the upper right hand corner.

Love the french and their house music. Bob Sinclar, David Duriez & Dan Ghenacia are all excellent DJ's/producers from the land who had Americans renaming french fries to freedom fries.

Jealous?!?!? Have you ever shared the stage with the one & only...

For real though, he's one of your clients? I'm extremely jealous. You've met him?
