that's actually pretty much what it was made for... to recruit young people by entertaining/educating them first

Depends on the people that you play against and with.

Besides the fact that there can be cheated, but not so easy as before, well even it got very hard.

I can't believe people don't know this game.

I used to play this way back before the sniper patch... Nearly after i was released, it was fun then, people were serious making it a really good game, there's just something nice about knowing you're ass is covered by 3-4 teammates when you open a door, or close a valve, or whatever. Peopled cared more about the completing the mission then killing everybody. I quit the game when me and some guy was atemted to get vote kicked for actually guarding our opgetive (sp?) rather then run out and get killed 1 min. into a game.

I still smile when i remember back before the sniper patch, the desert mission where you have to hack the computer, i remeber everybody was killed except me and some guy on the other side, he were guarding the computer, i was trying to get in, for 3-4min. we played cat & mouse taking turns on opening the door and toss a grenade after each other. the game ended in at timeout, but no one was mad, everybody laughed at us and thanked us for the entertainment.

The sniper patch ruined everything, people started to kill their on sniper just to get the sniper rifle, after that patch it seem that everybody cared more about death rate the the mission. People got mad when you tried to complete the mission, so you could complete that mission and unlock the mext on. When they made the granades less powerfull, so you almost had to stand on top og it to die, the game lost all the fun for my part, and i stopped playing it.

They're merging with Ubisoft to make the game now. And possibly bring it to consols. Its nice that its free, but I got bored with it pretty quick. Damn Army spyware. And anyone who joins the Army because of this game are retards.
