i really don't understand why u would have an autograph of famous people. what do u do with it? do u forge it and get money from his bank account or what? is it like a confirmation to your friends that you've actually seen him in real life?
or, when you're 80 years old, a confirmation cuz you've probably forgotten him due to alzheimer. "hmm i seem to have an autograph of dj tiesto, who ever that may be"
i really don't understand it.

Eh, I just have PvD's. I felt like a wanker askin' for it tho. I wasn't even going to until the other two people with me did, so I figured meh, may as well. I also got Nick Warren's for a friend. I don't really like askin' for autographs, seems kind of pointless.

Posted by torontotrance on May-26-2004 14:21:

I've met a ton

lost track

Posted by MisterOpus1 on May-26-2004 14:24:

Lemme get this straight-

You're asking if we have signatures from individuals who spin records all night at a party/club?

Mmmkay.

Oh, to answer your question, ummm no, I have none. Haven't reached that upper echelon status yet.

/cynicism

I try to get the CD signed if I go see a dj where I own their CD release and I try to do it before or after a gig, if that does not happen, I usually go home happy with the odd exception

I agree. I have only asked PvD and Ferry for their autographs and both times were in joking. I made Ferry sign some cash I had on me to help me "save money". It was a joke...I was being obnoxious. When I "asked" PvD it was because we were at an event and they gave me this huge ass shirt for helping to promote him being there. PvD and I were just sitting there when he grabbed the shirt to look at it. He was like wtf are you going to do with that...it's HUGE...so he wrote on it really BIG! I thought it was funny because it captured the moment so perfectly. I kept it of course and I still have that cash too!

Posted by Floorfiller on May-26-2004 15:36:

i like that cash idea hehehe...

i don't seek autographs...they're just regular people to me...they just got a cool ass job.

Posted by torontotrance on May-26-2004 15:37:

I hate to say no to labels sending me signed CDs, it looks really bad..
