Carl Cox is the man! I have never seen a DJ sweat as much or even more as much as this man did.

Posted by stevebutabi on May-27-2004 15:11:

haha yeah he has to keep a towel handy to wipe off his big bald head

Posted by tu_face on May-27-2004 15:40:

i love it when dj's just dont stop doing something.. eg cox, zabiela, liebing.. all great to watch with their multiple tables

i wouldnt like to dj like that, they must have no time to relax and listen to/enjoy what they are playing, they must always be queing, and adding effects.

A dj is there to entertain a crowd not to stand and admire the music s/he plays.

2 decks vs 15 decks no difference to me

Posted by jp on May-27-2004 16:34:

Watch Chris Liebing work his tables and drumcomputer at Mayday 2003... that's what I call passion

Posted by Greedy on May-27-2004 16:59:

im never seen a dj dance behind decks like carl cox can

Posted by stevebutabi on May-27-2004 17:01:

haha much better than tiesto's dancing

white boys can't dance (includes myself)

Posted by sandstorm03 on May-27-2004 17:06:

Well yeah but if you watch them....ok well they don't all show it, but Carl Cox certainly does. You can tell he likes keeping busy, that he's still having a good time.

i know when i mix i dont really have much time to actually enjoy the tracks...then again im still learning 2 mix..

Posted by torontotrance on May-27-2004 17:54:

Sander Kleinenber sweats like a sponge during his sets. His t-shirt is always drenched with sweat completely, like it been showering in it after his gigs..

Posted by Choobak on May-27-2004 20:20:

Thumbs up

i'd rather have my dj scratching, throwing in acapellas, adding effects, or doing whatever else creative than have him listen to the track or, worse, dance on the decks like tiesto...

Ok, I'm clearly not with it since I visited intecrecords.com and I didn't see the video posted up anywhere. Is this something where I should be checking "alternate sources"?

Well like someone else said... you're not there to to enjoy yourself, you're there so that the people on the dance floor can enjoy themselves. Any kid with $1500 and some patience and time can mix 2 tracks together - guys like Zabiela and Cox take bits and pieces from here and there and turn it into a whole 'nother creation. Gotta respect their skills at least.
