Shrek 2...just saw it last night...
ok i don't think i saw a thread about shrek 2 yet. i know some of you had to go and see it hehehe. what did you guys think of it?
i thought it was pretty hilarious and i love the animation that Pixar and Dreamworks do...
i saw also..i thought i was better than the 1st one...and when does pixar helped out dreamworks....2 diff companies...

I liked it a lot...best part of the movie of course was one of my fav. childhood cartoons...Puss......N' Boots!

I thought it was as good or better than the 1st, really surprised me. I loved the cops paraody, hoping shrek 3+4, which are confirmed, are just as good.

Thought it was great.... loved the part where they run from one Farbucks to the next, the Cops parody, and Puss. Great movie... just seemed a little too short to me..... Maybe I just wanted more?

All the things that were supposed to be funny were just copied from other places. I know the first shrek was like that too, but it was funnier last time.
I thought it was a pretty weak movie, although the visuals were pretty damn amazing. Good fan service, but not much else I say
There were a LOT of references to other classic movies
Like when Puss popped out of Shrek's chest like Alien
and when the giant ginger bread man was walking and saying
"BEEEE GOOOD" from E.T.
Also when the two knight's were giving the headless horseman the DUI test and he's doing the touching the fingertips to the nose.
NO HEAD- LOL
and of course!
GREAT MOVIE- Definite See
I loved it!
Especially the "look" from the cat... IMO, one of the better if not best movie i've seen so far in 2004...
Anyone see the donkey + dragon hybrid at the end when the credits were rolling?? had me cracking up

I thought this show was awesome, better than the first and I didn't think that was possible. Is is true that there's going to be a third and fourth cuz that's wicked.
It was pretty funny...especially the fiesty cat lolll

Did anyone else see that at the end when they dance on stage pinochio is humping one of the pigs? That was so funny
This movie was all about stoners.
if u closely look at those guy's eyes, you know what i mean.
do u guys remember the scene that shows prince and princess having a chill-out time in the wagon? they were tripping so hard.
more hilarious thing was a talkative donkey behind them. I am as talkative as that donkey when i get stoned. hehe

my favorite parts were that, when prince charming got the happy meal and was wearing the crown, when puss in boots was arrested and they found catnip "i swear it's not mine", sirjustin, how lumiere and clocksworth came billowing out of the smoke in the factory, pinnochio wearing a thong, and when the little gingerbread boy fell in slowmo after the huge gingerbread man

Awesome movie i must admit, the scenes blended in nicely but some parts you could tell the characters were placed on top of the backgrounds, maybe a 3 year wait would have fixed those sort of problems but defenatelly a good watch.
I must admit very good scenes, but my favorite one was defenatelly the cops one, when puss gets busted possessing drugs.. lol i was in stitches cause it was so damm funny, especially banderas voice.
MVP of the movie defenatelly goes to Puss In Boots.
And yes it was a little too short, i did expect more from a 3 year wait....
*sigh*... waits n does more waiting for the DVD......
I wanted to see Shrek's family in that movie dudes.
We only got to see the uptight princess' parents which made for some "okay" jokes i guess but an Ogor family woulda been hilarious.
Plus there was waaaay too much singing.
Doesn't touch the first one but still very funny.
Bit of a stupid question... but do you need to have seen the first one to appreciate some things in this one more?

i wasnt too keen on where the film was going, it felt like dreamworks ran out of ideas for the film and decided to humanise shrek (sorry if its a spoiler but it had to be said)
