Traffic Jams piss me Off !

Thought id let some stress out !

Anyone else get stuck in Traffic Jams everyday. Jesus they Piss me off, I just feel like getting out of my car and going smashing something up, im sure you have seen the film falling down with michael douglass. well i feel like that everyday. Going to work and comming home im stuck in traffic jams for about 2 hours a day, everything is conjested to fuk, the lights change and nothing moves its like someone has frozen time as soon as you get over 10mph Bang you hit another traffic jam, i wish someone would invent teleportation, is it the UK thats only like this, theres speed cameras everywhere, you cant even hold ya mobile phone in ya hand without getting arrested/fine, without my attractive in car mp3 player and my 20hour playlist i think i would of been sent down for a long time !

Can you find substitute ways of getting to and from work? What about biking or is too far? Is there a subway system like the Tube in London that you can use as well?

hehe good thing you had your mp3 player & 20 hr playlist, i would've gone nuts cos all i have is a cassette tape player in my car!

I Wish there was , Its about 20min drive by car thats 1hr cycle plus you can't cycle on a motorway, I would have to pay for 4 buses to get there, Trainstation would mean getting two trains and a bus. I could get a motorbike i suppose but id prob kill myself.

my traffic jams are worst i think... cause my car is a 5 speed... after an hour in traffic on the highway.. my clutch foot is killing me

i think the worst traffic jams are...the other day at night there was a big traffic jam (looked like an accident)and when i got to where the problem of the jame was...it wasnt no accident....there was like 5 cars pulled over with like 3 cops..after that the raod was clear, it was cause of the dumb ass human biengs that we are just slowing and looking at what was going on...pissed me off soooo bad....sheesh..

damn rubberneckers gawking, but unfortunately thats one of the main reasons of traffic jams on interstates.. people want to look at the carnage and accident site...

Seriously though, I understand your pain. Nothing pisses me off more than having to sit still even though there's a green light. Well, nothing except stupid drivers. There are way too many people on the roads that can't drive for shit.

Speaking of having to wait because of accidents...
Towards the end of January I was driving along I29 and it was snowing a good bit, and there was an accident. I must have just missed it, because I was the second or third car stopped. But anyways, there were hundreds of cars backed up on the interstate waiting for them to clear the accident. That kind of stuff doesn't really bother me though, because there's naught you can do about it. Though it does irritate me to see people not being able to handle a little bit of bad weather. The accident looked like it was due to someone's bad judgment.

i used to hit some traffic when i lived in new york. i had really bad road rage then. i've calmed down since. but fortunately all of the times i have had relatively long commutes, i travel against the traffic. but i do agree. traffic sucks. worst jam i was ever in lasted 12 hours....

Motorcycles are great. even when you run out of commuter lane, you just split the lanes or ride the shoulders.

I love traffic jams, yeah I'll be late for work and stuff but I get to listen to trance longer, look at hot girls, look at stuff that I never noticed before.


having a mp3 player in your car does help

over the past few years, i've learned to just chill the F&&& out when i'm driving. it's beyond your control..just go with it. people drive like morons down here anyway, so it's not worth it to get all pissed and cut people off...you'll just end up in a stupid accident and a law suit.

I remember I had to go to church to meet a pastor for some meeting in 2002 and it normally takes 12-15 mins but it took me 3 friggin hrs that day. Not that cared, I was too busy listening to CDs and choons I had anyway. I had a fun time, tho 3 hrs is too much.

why not try to use the time contructively, since it sounds like it'snot something you can avoid. Learn a new language perhaps?
my little tip for not letting traffic get to you so much, stop a little further back from the cars in front, gives you less of a trapped feeling. It's only a little thing, but helps lessen the stress too

I spend ~20 hrs a week in my car driving, of which probably 10 of those hours are in traffic jams. Thank Heavens for my cell, my music, and for the fact that there always seems to be some hot chick in an Audi next to me.

Traffic Jam Tip: Never EVER even motion with your hand towards your nose or you will forever go down in history as 'That guy in the traffic jam who was diggin in his nose'. I swear I see like 6 of those guys everyday.
