They're letting those two teams win becasue the NHL is running out of money, so they let the shitty teams win so that those teams generate more money than they usually do, and then the NHL will also show that the teams DONT need to have such a high pay roll if, if the calgary flames can win the cup! I DONT KNOW, i'm really stoned and it just poped into my head!

no this is the exact situation they didnt want. if detroit or colorado were in the finals, they would easily generate more revenue from tv broadcasts alone than tampa and calgary combined.
