A little story about last night (and how i lost my car)
At about midnight last night, i was at the Docks Nightclub, walking towards the washroom with a drink in my hand. By the washroom stood a bouncer who pointed at the "NO DRINKS INSIDE THE WASHROOM" sign and asked me to leave mine on the little table like about a half-dozen others already have. When i came out of the washroom, my drink was gone but a nearly-identical one was sitting right beside where i left it. Assuming that someone accidently took mine instead of their own, i took it and drank it. This lead to an argument between me and the bouncer, who wanted me out of the club for "stealing" somebody's drink - apparently it didn't matter that they stole mine. So i walked out of the club and started walking towards the parking lot.
Up until that point, my memory of last night's events is chrystal clear. I remember every moment, every face, every word. I have a fairly good tolerance for alcohol, and i only had a couple of drinks that night. But past that point, there is a big dark gap in my memory. I woke up on the wrong side of the bed, with my feet on the pillow. And yet my dress pants lay on the shelf, carefully folded along the crease. My watch, chain, license and debit card were laying on the table. I have absolutely no idea what happened to me after leaving the club. Ever seen Memento? Yea, just like that. The lesson is: don't leave your drink unattended or drink someone else's drink because you never know WHAT you'll end up drinking!
That's fucked up.
that is super fucked
maybe you got somebody bottle of G?
I dunno, hope you dont get screwed out of insurance because of the situation.

Why does this sound like an urban legend?
You should scan and post the police report for us

if you request it they will
If this were a case of abduction and car theft the cops would be taking finger prints where ever it was you woke up. So i doubt you would have simply filed it over the phone.
Not to mention you would have been taken to the hospital for examination and toxicology

sorry im a tough skeptic when a story like that fits too perfectly together. Im pretty sure u are telling us a true story and it sucks if this is the case.
I just think this warning would be better heeded if backed up by physical proof for skeptics like me.
Remember the urban legend about people with HIV needles in clubs that turned out to be false? This is why im giving you a bit of a hard time now.
Wow, if something like this happened to me I would be freaking out !!
Maybe a girl drugged you, took you home, and then stole your car? I am trying to make sense of this situation, but I just don't get it. Maybe she asked if you could borrow it and you said yes.
i remember the HIV needle scare from 5 years ago (actually this surfaces every couple of years) it actually did affect club attendance numbers as it spread. This is why im demanding proof of this. So far, having a major incident like this happen without the cops even showing up to do an investigation smells a bit fishy to me.
Im being a bit of a hardass here because when the entertainment industry suffers, so does my paycheque.

Just be happy you didnt wake up with your ass hurting.
Also, if the bouncer freaked out on you for taking someones drink, how much of the drink did you have before he or did he take it away?? If it was a sip and there was enough G to knock you out, wouldnt you have tasted somthing salty. My buddy one time used my water bottle cap to take some G, when i went to take a drink from my water bottle, i almost puked. I dont use G but that taste on my water bottle cap was very distinct.
One more reminder, that if you take your eyes off your drink, get a new one.
Dude, where's my car ?!?
I'm actually intrigued. Is having your drink spiked with G not something that happens quite often in Toronto?
I'm from the West Coast, and it happens VERY often there...
... mind you, usually the police report has nothing to do with a stolen vehicle.
Jayx1: Tox screens will likely come up negative if not done the night of, as long as it was actually GHB.
the most simplest explanation is the most likely answer!

Either way the story doesnt add up. Why would the crooks leave him in his house and make such an effort increasing their chances of getting caught when they could have simply left him in a ditch?
