FLTA Party 5-29-04 Pics and Review!
Yo I just got back home, I'm so tired, I'll write somethin up soon, until then someone post up pics!

Wow good party. Its 9am and i just got back from terrin the setup down. We ended the last record at 7:30am. Best part was classic trance sets, at sunrise, with Myles Hie and Suzy on the decks. There was a select group of people who just did not want to stop. These survivor TAs were- Lil-b, Suzy, Myles, Trancebrat, rounders bro(sorry its early), EX-dj(james), gcrasher(jeff), myself, and last but the hugest upset for poll voting of ALL TIME----->>>>>>>>-----HOPE-----!!!!!!!!!!!!! She Kicked soo many peoples asses it wasn't funny. I have never got to hang out with such people that have the same feeling as myself of wanting to go and go. HAHa i can't believe hope beat you all. Sunrise was amazing, i think i was the only one with sunglasses on. Anyways I thank you all for coming! Like mdamon said oMG OMG OMg, hehe. I loved meeting TAs i have not met before. There was a cop problem and i had to take one up the ass for 2 sets. Sorry bout that, but hey once suzy came on, it was full blastin again. Thanks to alllllll for making my night, hope i helped made yours as well. Lates- Pat
You damn right we were the last TA's standing...all the way to the end. Props to Suzy for having played Forever too.
I've been home for about 20 minutes. I am too tired to post my review as I'm not sure that I could create a bunch of coherent sentences. I'm sure I will forget things. Never mind the fact that I had no business driving home this morning...took me only 1 hour and 15 minutes before walking in my front door. Damn trance CD that I had playing made me speed. Who's bright idea was it to post a 55mph speed limit on I-4 anyways? The slowest that I could drive was 90mph. I keep thinking...cop...cop...cop. Couldn't help but want to sing the old school song..."I can't drive...55". Thank God for I-75 and it's 70mph speed limit...would have been a smaller speeding ticket.
Breakfast this morning was classic. I definitely will be writing about that later.
Anyways...I will post my review when I wake up. I've been up for 24 hours now and I need some sleep.

I just got home from the party not 10 minutes ago. Absolutely great. I am exhausted. I'm not saying a goddamn thing about my 'set.' 
Everyone else's (with the exception of the sets of a certain genre I despise) was killer. Oh yeah. And to a certain deueschebag who was talking shit last night: don't play your little shit or even bother coming to another TA gathering. You don't like the music, take a walk or don't show up, but don't talk shit. Go to a local bar and pick a fight there. Next time, I'll kill you. Kunt. Kthxbye.
Now with THAT out of the way, great thanks to Patrick, James and Phil and everyone else who helped set this up.
*EDIT* Also a great thanks to everyone who came in from out of town to make it to the event. FLTA PWNS.

Finally up. TA party was a blast. I had to leave earlier, since I have work today. Met a whole bunch of TA's, including most of the Miami TA's. It was a pleasure meeting all of you.
Those were some sick sets played at the party. I enjoyed every single one. I can't wait to meet all of you again. Like Arturo would say, OMG I die. DA, thanks for driving me to the event and back home.
P.S. Damon, you were lucky I was drunk and tired. Otherwise, you would have swallowed your balls from bottom up. You know what I am talking about.
Wow, one pretty damn good party. Some techincal difficulties here and there, plus the cops interfering with our shit but such is life.. the party was fuckin good anyway!
It sucks that I missed Pat's set 
from that first song (what was that song btw, it sounded Goa/Psy ish) I can tell it was going to be awesome, I absolutely HAD to go out and eat since that one hot dog and cake wasnt' enough actually felt like passing out at one point LOL... and then I didn't get to say good bye to some people other than that it was great.
I met a few new people that night, Brent, Amber, a few non posting TA's I don't think I met everyone there I'll try to catch everyones name next time . It was great seeing everyone again!
Damn it, I still have this killer cough....

Heh kick ass event. Mad props to Pat, Phil, James and every1 else that helped organizing it, gj doods. I arrived late and missed some sets 
, but still managed to dance my ass off My only regret is that I didnt stay till the end. I got home and got a phone call from work that i need to drag my ass down there pronto Ohh well lesson learned, now I need some sleepy time since I had none.

just got my azz up. what a cool little party. really liked the setup reminded of being at the terrace on space, defintely a great way to kick off summer 04'. just would like to thank everybody who made this event happen to happen, especially breakinbeats(Pat), ex-dj(james), and so on. really enjoyed meeting some of you ta's for the first time and familiar ta's alike, you know who you are. really enjoyed everybodys sets, pat broke out energy 52-cafe del mar, suzy was amazing, playing tracks i never heard before, and myles the sunrise dj played so many badass trance classics, jan johnstan's flesh just blew me away. thank you all for such a good time, hope to see everybody at tiesto.

ughhhhhh, so hung over..Great time tho!! It was killer meeting some new TA'S and seeing a few familiar faces. Thanks to everybody for the kind words about the choons, I couldn't mix a pitcher of kool-aid last night but the song selection was choice
Mad props to Pat for hooking it all up. I will be mre than happy to be in the mix for any future TA events. My crates run deep with the old school trance This is one of the best BBS'S i frequent, the enthusiasm is awesome! Anywho, back to work....
I didn't really get any sleep so I guess I'll post my review instead.
First of all thank you to Pat and James for putting together this party. This was exactly what the doctor ordered. Pat...you really put your heart into things and it shows. The set up and location was impressive. At first I thought I was going to die from being outside all night (with the occasional venture inside to the two people's homes). I'm sure everyone will look a little hot in all of the pics...hehe. For whatever reason at some point in time the heat finally cooled off for me and I actually started to feel comfortable. Probably had something to do with drinking water instead of Monsters towards the end. When I started to cool a bit being on the terrace was nice...especially when the sun came up...that was great. 
The sun didn't even make it hot. The music and vibe were perfect. It reminded me of old school days of being on top of Simon's when the sun came up.
I had a good time with everyone...seeing people again and meeting new people. It was good seeing Suzy, Brian, Neil, Hope, Jeff, Pat, Art, Harold, Raul, Stan, Phil, Damon, Rachel, Sara, Maciej, etc. It was nice meeting Myles, Lani, Brent, Ben, Amber, James, Dave, etc. I know there was people there that I didn't meet...I didn't know who everyone was. If I didn't meet you it wasn't intentional. To the people that let us have that party on the terrace of their apt building...thank you! Thank you for the hospitality...you guys were fun to hang out with!
Suzy & Brian...I love you guys so much! 
I MISS YOU!!! I am so happy that you guys came out. I had a blast hanging out with you...pictures should prove it! hehe! I felt like I was being neglectful to other people at the party, but I never get to see you two anymore. Suzy...I had so much fun with you...as always. Brian...I never get tired of talking to you. You guys are the best!
Neil...where in the hell did you learn how to massage like that?! 
My God what was up with that? People probably thought I was wasted when in fact I was 100% sober. I just can't remember the last time someone touched me like that. Everyone can take that however they want...you weren't the ones on the receiving end. 
Neil...once again I loved hanging out with you. You were my buddy for the night!
Everyone had good sets. Whether you think you did or not is irrelevant! We were there to have fun...not to critique you. Art had a good set. He played Wundervoll...but of course. Phil, Dave, and James all had good sets. Pat you had a good set. You were the first person (after I got there) to play some old school trance. I even took a picture of you at that moment to capture the moment on film. My happiest moment? When Suzy went on of course! I first met Suzy in 1995/1996. Listening to Suzy spin is heaven to my ears and it had been a while since the last time that I heard her. Suzy...make sure to tell Mat Silver how well Ultimate Wave did at our party. Not that he doesn't already know how phat that track is, but for me to have taken the time to look him up says a lot. Anyways...that song is the song that brought everyone out of the apts on the terrace and got everyone in that place up dancing. Jeff went on after Suzy. It was Jeff that played Flesh. You had a really good set Jeff. I enjoyed listening to you. Myles Hie...you did what I had been wanting someone to do all night...play old trance. I knew every song that you spun...it reminded me of when Suzy, Paul, Brian, and I were listening to trance back in the day. For An Angel was such a fitting ending to your set. Everyone yelled (in approval) when you put it on. I don't care if you don't think your mixing was on. You had me up the whole time. It was daylight...the sun was blaring down on us...not a cloud in the sky and your set was just perfect. Everyone was loving it. Suzy came back on to finish it (at the request of one of the guys from the apts) and of course she delivered. It made it so much easier to clean that place listening to phat trance jamming from the speakers. Thank you so much for playing Smith & Pledger - Forever. So beautiful hearing that with the sun coming up. If we wouldn't have been hungry who knows when we would have shut down!
Last people standing...me, Suzy, Brian, Pat, James, Jeff, Hope, Neil (although you left before us). There were also some people that I didn't know. Not only were we standing...we were still jamming out! The sun just reminded us that it was daytime. My understanding is Ginger was the first to pass out. In her defense...it was HOT!
Me, Suzy, Brian, Jeff, and Hope went to eat at that diner in front of the Holiday Inn. Not that Suzy wasn't already being silly at the party, but woohoo the diner was fun. When it was just me, Suzy and Brian I had to use my menu to reflect water spouts coming from across the table. The table was wet, the seat was wet, my pants were wet. Suzy must have asked the poor lady for quarters 5x's. What part of NO did you not understand? hehe "If I don't hear some music I am going to go crazy!" Frank Sinatra here we come. After Hope and Jeff got there we all ate breakfast. I mean Suzy ATE breakfast. Suzy ate enough food for everyone at our table. Did someone say soup? Oh you mean gravy. hehe Nice piercing story too...ewww. 
"Were you ever on MTV?!" Ladies and gentleman we have a star in the building! 
All in all I had a really good time with all of you guys. I hope everyone had a good time as well. Make sure to tell Pat & James thank you for putting on such a great party!
OMG! I wish I could have been there. We'll just have to have a big TA Bash for j00f here (which is already in the planning details to come soon)

Other than the 'other' stuff, I had a great time. As usual I got blasted drunk. I had said before that I'm a total newb when it comes to mixing, so I was a nervous wreck before going on the decks for the first 'set' of the night. 'Set.' I use that word very loosely. I only got a PM from Patrick TODAY telling me I was to be the first DJ of the night. I was gone from Weston since 6PM Friday night, so there was no possible way I could have known. I was trashed behind the decks. I had like 6 shots of Green Hulk. My playlist was very brief:
