Here's some info on World I got in an email...contains the email addy and the phone #...plus some info on the sound system....

I don't know....that's the amount that was quoted in the email....I think it's rather large...but the amount of huge t.v.'s they got in that place, combined with the lights, as well as the sound system had to have cost them a pretty penny.

Tonight, Sept 7th....DJ Scot Project at World.

This party is the Grand Opening party for World Fridays. Doors open at 10pm

18 to enter...21 to drink

Guestlist information: Present your ID and use the name "Carusomaas" at the guestlist table for reduced admission.

Exit is closed in Sept, Twilo is obviously closed, SF has Joe Avila spinning all night....point being...this one's gonna be big.

Also in the lineup for Oct is Carl Cox and Cosmic Gate. Also DJ Scot Project will have a monthly residency. See you all there tonight!!!

My first time at World was last sunday, i noticed something pretty strange. The prcedure you have to go through to get inside the club is weird. Outside, we got our id's checked 2 times, then iside we got our id's checked 2 more times then we got a symbol stamped on our hands. We then went to go get a guestlist ticket and we realized that no one even frisked us for any drugs or weapons. Not that we had any , but whats the situation here lol

I read a flyer also. 38 million dollars was invested in all those things. They might have gotten jipped somewhat, but they can swallow that price tag. Its only Times Square, NYC.
You should see all the extra things that were done to this place. At least 10 Plasma Tv's, one of a kind lighting and visual effects, and this so called Clair Brothers sound system.
I think they're just gettin this place ready for the heavy hitters...
can u image Pvd live @ World? Digweed? Sasha? Carl cox is gonna be there and they definetly have the money to pull this off. I know im gettin ahead of myself lol but its fun to think about these things.

if that # doesnt work then try calling 411...I got their number that way and talked to someone before going to Oakie there a lil over a month ago. Friday nites were supposed to be getting good there...dunno since this whole WTC thing....kinda threw everyone and everything for a loop. sats seems to be house....bleh in my opinion

I dont have the number on me at the moment but call 411 and ask for the WWF Cafe. If you ask for Club World they wont have any listings. So just ask for WWF cafe and you'll get connected to World.

hehehehe...man u and me phazon are on the same page....but when I called I asked for the club called "The World"...I also mentioned something about the WWF....the club itself is in times square...maybe that would help the foos at 411 a bit as well

okaie i found out about through my cousin....i dunno whats going on there recently...most euro dj's have cxl'ed their bookings in nyc for the time being...looks like its gonna be a long fall....i know personally im not ready to go back to nyc this minute to see someone whos ok....im waiting to muster my courage up till someone sikk appears!
