c'mon, help a newbie out!

hey everyone. first time post here and wanna say that this site is great. anyway, i was at prom on saturday and at the end they played some song with this violin melody that had 3 musical phrases in it with a beat inbetween each one. there were some vocals that i couldnt quite distinguish, but it sounded like mark van dale or maybe even daniel bedingfield. the wierd thing is, i recognised the violin part and when i got home i found that the same violin melody line is in some song called "trance control" by mark van dale, only the version i have is faster with a harder beat and no vocals. i was wondering if anyone knows who the slow version is by and what its called. thanks and i look forward to future posts to the tranceaddict forums!

hey again. i found out the song is called "bittersweet symphony" by the verve. not really trance, but whatever.
