I had a dream last night

I had a dream that I found an MK5 lying in the back room of my house with a whitelabel cartridge on it. I was so excited and happy, and I practised mixing on 3 TTs for a good half hour or so (or what felt like half an hour). Then I woke up and realised I was only dreaming worst dream EVER. It felt so real too. Damnit I'd rather have BAD dreams than GOOd ones and wake up and realise that what you had wasn't real.

I guess I'm just bitter at that guy who found that MK2 in the garbage room in Sweden

ive dreamt of having decks a FEW times, but alas, still no setup of my own. i dreamt i had 2 tech mk3s, metallic blue paint, with matching blue ortofon carts. 2 cdj1000mk2's, a djm600 and an efx500. i had about 1000 records on a huge stand, quite a few cd's and mackie srm-450s.

then i woke up and had abig cry.

I think having the third deck as a way of playing "teasers" would be really tight. That would work out just fine in trance.

yea i hate those dreams, their the worst specially when you wake up and after one of these your like fuck oh well i can go to sleep then you look at the clock and realise its tuesday and you have to go to work/school

- mixing more than two tracks at once

my wost dream was i owned a killer nightclub and in the booth i had a oldschool bozak cma-10 and 3 sl-1200mk5g's and sl-dz1200s (and they didn't suck like in real life) And to spin i had frankie nuckles, frankie bones, sandra collins, dj rap, all mixed killer sets and people going mad; and then i woke up and realized, that didn't actually happen

Regarding the 3 decks for mixing trance topic - if you're spinning Hard Trance or Tech Trance, it can be very effective! Whether it's scratching and sampling over hard trance, live remixing / layering of tech trance... so many possibilities. Not so appropriate with mainstream trance I think, but there are still some uses, layering an acapella over a transition, even some live remixing through layering like Armin often does with his live mashups
