Tiesto added to Global Gathering line up

Godskitchen have added Tiesto to the line up.

As if it didn't rip the piss before they've added the one name most trance fans moaned about.

Personally i'd of rather seen Sander Kleinenberg and James Holden added to the Bedrock arena, instead as i'm no real fan of Tiesto ( especially after his mixmag comments )

I wouldn't take what Mixmag says seriously even if you paid me for it.

If you wanna know why I have it, check out Bit Meddler - Shitmix 2000. The fact that you try to insult me on the basis of my avatar when you don't have a clue why I put it there in the first place says it all about your level of maturity and cluelessness though, just as this..

Yeah, but it was more his plain arrogance that annoyed me!

"In all other countries they treat my like a king....." as if thats how he should be treated? He's just a Dj

it was posted on trance.nu

OK, fair enough it seems pretty "official" if they have put it up in t.nu news and they have the quote from tiesto and everything.

still, you would expect that he would be addded to the website for GKGG...

My apologies.

Actually i think huge dj's should be treated better than kings. Dj's have talents, Kings just have the luck of being born in the right family.

maybe a bit offtopic but hey, just a thought ;p

They are over paid arrogant tossers half the time, with less talent than the guy who's in the crowd who would gladly do it for free. Tiesto and Oakenfold especially nowadays.

They are only usually good until they make it big, then they seem to let their standards slip.

No, they're good until they start believing their own publicity...

Uk clubbing dead?
Tisto - 2004-06-04

When I was reading the UK magazines lately they always wrote negative about the UK club scene. It was a while ago since I played there so I could finally check it out myself when I was there in the weekend of the 21st and 22nd of May. First I played at club Heaven in London on the Friday, this is my favourite club in the UK. The crowd is always so up for it and the place was packed and it stayed packed till the end. I played from 01.00 till 04.30 and I had a great time. It almost felt that I was thrown five years back in time in London, such a great vibe!

The next day I played in Manchester which was absolutely great as well. So my conclusion is "dont believe the hype!", UK clubbing is not dead. It seems more alive then I have ever seen before in the last five years

I want to thank everybody who visited my release parties in Hamburg, Malm, Amsterdam, London, Manchester, Tel Aviv and of course everyone who joined me at my train trip on the 20th of may throughout Holland.

Thanks,
Tisto
