First date: guy pays for girl's meal?

So I'm going out with this attractive girl this weekend... both she and I know that it's nothing serious and just a fling (with hopefully "some" on the first date)... should I pay for her meal?

The guy should always pay on the first couple of dates. Thats why the first couple of dates should be kept simple nothing too expensive. That way you wont waste too much money on someone that you dont know if you'll ever go out with again.

If you've been dating a girl for more than a month or so then its allright if she pays imo.

First couple of dates, I believe, the guy should pay. However, there is a $40 limit rule I swear by; like "The_One" said, why blow a lot of your hard earned cash on a chick you might never sleep with.

what a shocker...

i think chivalry is a big turn on for a lot of women, and shamefully, it's very rare these days.

i say you should pay absolutely. if you ask someone to join you for dinner and then expect them to pay for even half, that's just tacky. so even if a girl asks out a guy, then she should pay, because she asked for his company...and vice versa
