I have an impossible request for you

What song... goes like digidigiding.. ding , ding di-ding . The "ding" is a soft, somewhat pianolike note.

It's from the nineties. It has a old-sounding Drum-Bass-Drum-Bass in the background.... AND I HAVE NO DAMN SAMPLE OF IT. I've never discovered what song this is, but I've always wanted to.

Posted by Trance Effect on Jun-03-2004 07:19:

Hahahaha you're asking for so much without a sample!

Posted by DJ Cinos on Jun-03-2004 07:21:

That's why it says "impossible request"...

It could be Scooter or Sash. The blue "Ding" are lower tones. The track is quite fast, like old scooter tracks.

The power of Bash compells you!

[gordo] who here knows their trance well?
[gordo] i need the title of that trance song, with the choir singing in the background
[gordo] (high pitch) la la la la la, la la la la
[gordo] (lower) la la la laaaaaaa, la (high) la la
[WardoG] Wow that's specific

Oh yeah wrong forum

You're right, that is an impossible request. Just plug in a microphone and hum the melody as you remember it, it'll give us a laugh even if it doesn't actually help get an ID.

Posted by DJ Cinos on Jun-03-2004 08:35:

I was so damn close to getting a sample, but the song ended right as I got my Mp3 player.

Anyway, I'll do a reconstruction of the melody when I get back to my music software again.

That's such a load off my mind... thanks. Now to buy the CD.

Posted by trewqy on Jun-03-2004 13:11:

U COMPARED ROBERT MILES WITH SCOOTER AND SASH!

BURN IN HELL!!!!!!!!!!!

And the funny thing is, the tune doesnt sound anything like scooter's cheese!

Posted by DJ Cinos on Jun-03-2004 13:13:

Ever heard Scooter's Euphoria? DIDN'T THINK SO.

Okay, Sash may have been a stretch, but the drum is definetly old scooterish.

Posted by DJAntSmith on Jun-03-2004 13:16:

Scooter & Sash = Robert Miles!?

And how have you never heard it? It was 1996 i think, 8 years ago. So either you're about 10 years old or live in a cave that has the most advanced internet connection any cave has seen.

Well done to the ID'er though!

Posted by trewqy on Jun-03-2004 13:20:

Sorry i never ever heard a single complete scooter tune. When i hear such crap i just switch the audio off. Heck I dont even know a single title of his tunes.

I found out about scooter only around 2001,around 2 years after i started listening to trance

After 2000, Scooter pretty much sucks, you're right on that, but their old stuff is good. Try it, sometimes.
