Avalon help

I've never been to Avalon before, my boyfriend isn't 21, and we're going there to see Tiesto. We bought our tickets lastnight but he's not too sure that he's gonna get in. We called Avalon to ask about age and the guy told us to sell our tickets because he won't get in. Is the guy just saying this or will my boyfriend really not get in?

Sell your tickets....Its not 21 and up and he will not get in unless he has a good fake id. You guys could always sell your tickets then take a road trip to DC and catch Tiesto @ Nation on the 26th....im pretty sure thats 18 and up.

I really don't want to sell my ticket...I've been waiting to see Tiesto since I saw him last year. I dunno, maybe I'll go by myself or something, there's no way I'm missing him.

Avalon is gay for having an age limit for guys, and I'm not just saying that b/c my bf is under 21. I would def. go on the road trip, but I don't want to do that by myself and I don't think my bf would want to do it

Wow, that really sux, does he have any friends that look like him that are older that he can borrow and ID from. When I went from non driver id, to permit, to drivers licesnse I kept the old ones cuz they werent expired and I used to give em to the youngens I was cool with. That worked

Your bf must not be a big fan of Tiesto if hes not willing to drive three hours to see him......maybe its best he stays home anyways cause Avalon is going to be slammed packed and I cant see anybody thats not a huge fan of Tiesto having a good time.

FFS it's 18+ for everyone in avalon new york... 21+ is the official advertised age for guys... not sure what that guy on the phone was saying, maybe they changed it for the night... however if it really is 21+, i wouldn't mind having extra space to dance in that suitcase of a club.

Well we're gonna give it a try and see what happens. My bf isn't as big a Trance fan as I am, but he really wants to see Tiesto also. I just hope he can get in

This has gotta be the 12497102934857 thread about whether Avalon is 18+.

On my ticket it says 21+ people ONLY It really sucks, the place is probably filled with a bunch of assholes who barely know Tiesto, when I'd much rather it be filled up with a bunch of younger kids who love Tiesto...

Ok... Avalon, from my knowledge, always was 18+. The only reason why you see 21+ is because they want to cater to an older crowd. Its as simple as that. I went to J00F on the 21st and Im 20...

if your under 21, but 18 and over, you WILL NOT GET REJECTED. TRUST ME. SAME goes for the night of Tiesto. if your really unsure about it, (21- people) go to Avalon at 10 so they wont bitch at you later in the night. THe bouncers will find dumb reasons to kick you out if your under 21. (have in mind the limited space in the club)

and another thing, ticketholders are top priority this saturday night. if you have a ticket, and your of age limit, you will get in.

How do you define dressing "properly"? My g/f and I are both 21, and we have tickets, but what if I want to wear my Tiesto T-shirt and jeans and sneakers, and she wants to wear a tank top and sneakers?

wassup, Avalon defines their dress code as "upscale trendy, casual" and sometimes they say No Sneakers. something casual. jeans are acceptable. no sweats, no basketball sneakers. no jerseys. Tiesto shirt with jeans and sneakers are ok.

for your girlfriend, she has nothing to stress about, because dress code isnt enforced for ladies. and another thing,

since your entering the club with a lady, they wont stop you because of the way you dressed, as opposed to a single guy walking into the club not dress properly, he would get stopped and asked to get the fuck out.

will it be okay to wear ufo's and such "rave inspired" pants to avalon for tiesto, or will we not be let in?

heyyy, i advise you. dont. cuz once you step up to the front, they;re gonna reject you. Avalon wants to have a "upscale, trendy enviroment" no UFOs. sorry to say dudeee. but do bring P.L.U.R!! haha cuz most people dicks in the clubs, compared to the good old rave days. how did i get out of topic. hahaha yea, dont wear the UFOs dude.

thanks neon... hopefully everyone will bring some PLUR will they allow sneakers at least? we just want to be comfortable while dancing to tiesto (if there's room )thanks again for answering everyone's avalon questions!

sneakers for guys, most likely not but it depends...avalon nyc is just GAY...avalon boston's dress code is MUCH more relaxed man...the crowd is better too xP
