Dumbest Lyrics Ever

Be it just a sentence in a song or perhaps the entire song itself.

Please quote the lyrics too, I need a laugh.

And trance/vocal nazis ( ) don't say 'Oh yeh all lyrics are dumb' cuz that'll piss me off.

okay.good.

F.massif - Somebody (Ferry Corsten Remix)

Er... yes they do. They might not be great vocals but they aren't nonsense either.

Posted by montana on Jun-04-2004 14:38:

the lyrics in somebody is somewhat stupid, butt in the ferry remix they are given thrir full potential as you get like a bdsm feel with it

I wonder where you are
Near or far away
I wanna be with you every night and day
I'm looking for an answer in your eyes
I'm searching for your love deep inside

Your love is everything I live for
Your voice is what I hear
Your touch is everything I dreamed of
Cause you're the one
The one I need
The one I need.

I wonder how you feel
The love for you is true
I walked a thousand miles just to be with you.
I'm looking for an answer in your eyes
I'm searching for your love deep inside.

Your love is everything I live for
Your voice is what I hear
Your touch is everything I dreamed of
Cause you the one
The one I need
The one I need.

Posted by lcid on Jun-04-2004 15:09:

Down through the dark trees
You came to save me
You're so ugly and you're so beautiful
You're like no one on Earth could be

Take me home
Let me be the one

All of my life I've been waiting
For you
I wanna be the one that you take home
Let me be the one
'Cause I'm so lonely

Take me home
With you
No one on Earth knows me like you do
Take me home
In time you'll love me like one of your own
So come on...

Take me home
With you
No one on Earth knows me like you do
Take me home
In time you'll love me like one of your own
So come on...

Take, take me home
With you
No one on Earth knows me like you do
La la la la....I'm going home

I hated the vocals of 'Darren Tate Vs Jono Grant - Let The Light Shine In'. Although the song without it quite nice. This is my 500th official post by the way

Posted by DiMethGuy on Jun-04-2004 15:26:

I like the lyrics to Let the Light Shine In, kinda cheesy but cool.
And No one on Earth is cool too!!

Dumb lyrics would go to Lost Tribe - Gamemaster... sounds like some crap from a hippie convention...keep it outta trance. Great track tho.

Posted by djthunderbird on Jun-04-2004 15:37:

naah, I like the vocals in gamemaster. I dont think I would like the tune so much w/o these..

and although the vox in Age of love may seem stupid today they're fckn classic and I wouldnt imagine that tune without vocals either..
"C'mon, dance with me, move your body and lets be free" or at least thats what I hear

Stupid sentence from tiestos "just be" lyrics "I was lost and Im still lost and blablablabla" I like the tune, though

If you want really stupid vocals try rednex - cotton eye joe or smthn like that

2 unlimited - the real thing

It's the real thing that makes your body swing
Open your ears for the techno rap sing
Back on the track, no my name ain't Jack
You try to criticize, so now step back
I traveled the world all round and round
Make a lot of heads go upside down
If it ain't rough, no, it ain't no thing
Just Let yourself go cause you're rolling with the real thing'

classic

Let's hear it for The KLF- Justified & Ancient:

All bound for Mu Mu Land
All bound for Mu Mu Land
(hey)
(hey hey)
All bound for Mu Mu Land (justified)
(hey hey)
All bound for Mu Mu Land
(Bring the beat back!)

They're Justified, and they're Ancient,
And they like to roam the land.
(just roll it from the top)
They're Justified, and they're Ancient,
I hope you understand.
(to the bridge, to the bridge, to the bridge now)
They called me up in Tennessee
They said "Tammy, stand by The Jams"
But if you don't like what they're going to do,
You better not stop them 'cause they're coming through
(bring the beat back)

(Hey hey)
All bound for Mu Mu Land (justified)
(Hey hey)
All bound for Mu Mu Land (justified)
(Ancients of Mu Mu)

Mu Mu Land
Mu Mu Land
All bound for Mu Mu Land

They're Justified, and they're Ancient,
And they drive an ice cream van.
(just roll it from the top)
They're Justified and they're Ancient,
With still no master plan.
(to the bridge, to the bridge, to the bridge now)
The last train left an hour ago,
They were singing "All aboard"
All bound for Mu Mu Land,
Then someone starting screaming "Turn up the Strobe"
(bring the beat back)

(Hey hey)
All bound for Mu Mu Land (justified)
(Hey hey)
All bound for Mu Mu Land (Ancients of Mu Mu)
(Bring the beat back)

Justified and Ancient, Ancient and a-justified,
Rocking to the rhythm in their ice cream van
with the plan and the key to
enter into Mu Mu
Vibes from the tribes of the Jams

I know where the beat is at,
'cos I know what time it is
Bring home a dime,
Make mine a "99"

New style, meanwhile, always on a mission while
Fishing in the rivers of life
Fishing in the rivers of life (hoi)
Fishing in the rivers of life (hoi)
Fishing in the rivers
Fishing in the rivers
Fishing in the rivers of life (hoi)

Voo-va-voolie
Za-shi-va-zom
Voo-va-voolie
(Bring the beat back)

(Hey hey)
All bound for Mu Mu Land (justified)
(Hey hey)
All bound for Mu Mu Land (Ancients of Mu Mu)

They have travelled the world
With the ice cream van
Their voyage, the bottom of time
They have entered the place
with the Mu Mu mate
And their children so pride
Mine as a "99"
(Bring the beat back)

Mu Mu Land (Ancients of Mu Mu)
Mu Mu Land (Ancients of Mu Mu)
All bound for Mu Mu Land

Mu Mu Land (Ancients of Mu Mu)
Mu Mu Land (Ancients of Mu Mu)
All bound for Mu Mu Land

Mu Mu Land
Mu Mu Land
All bound for Mu Mu Land

muahahaha

Seeing them written down doesn't give you an idea of how daft it sounds though, does it? Those records were so ludicrously over-produced there were about five vocalists on each one. And then there was the video...

EDIT: The KLF, that is.

Posted by capricorn15 on Jun-04-2004 17:13:

the lyrics on the vocal mix for seven cities were kind of dumb, but they were fun to sing along, so is the vocals on solid sessions - janeiro, but they are fun too, ghaha

I think it was Tammy Wynette. My favourite KLF track is America: What Time Is Love? with those awesome electric guitars.

I used to love 2 unlimited when i was a kid...
never realised how bad the lyrics were. "Open your ears for the techno rap sing" ridiculous.

i always found Scatman John to suck big time.

As a matter of fact don't let nothin' hold you back.
If the Scatman can do it brother so can you.
