Terradia feat. Damona - Drowning In Dreams (Ben Bording Remix)

Hey all!
First time I promote some stuff here!
It a remix I've been working hard on!
Please tell me what you think of it!
Track name is:

Terradia feat. Damona - Drowning In Dreams (Ben Bording Remix)

It has the most beatiful vocals I have heard in a long time and I was so lucky to be able to remix this baby!
Anyways the mp3 is stated 128 but the actual quality is only 96 (had to be lofi coz the original is signed sorry)

Here's the link:

Hope you like it!
Cheers!

Hi, my name is Neil I come from a small record label MPFS Records. We are an unsigned artist promoter, derived from years of free service as an artist resource, something not unsimilar to TA!

Recently we decided to take the plunge and take our artists to a newer level, what with the level of talent comming our way, somebody has to do it right! Well MPFS003, which is our third release is going to be "Terradia - Drowning in Dreams".

This brings me onto remixes and there public availability, we would like to ask all artists creating remixes of this track if you could keep them to yourselves. We dont want to seem harsh, I am not going to order anyone to do anything, we dont want to get into disputes with anyone.

We are simply pleading with you all as we are a friendly label, promoting unsigned artists like yourselves and believe we should support each other. So please, at least until after our official release due in a few months, dont crowd the net with Remixes and anyone who has the "remix components" please keep them to yourself, we are trying to minimise the chances of more remixes till at least after the release!

I think I can trust you all to understand our point of view and hope you will all support the Artist and our label as we go through this tough stage of getting off the ground.

If you really want someone to listen to your remixes, send them to us

Thank you again.

Hi mate!
I talked to Andr earlier this night where he told me what you have just posted here! And I took it offline right away! It was gone before you posted here!
Of course If you the label do not want it spread before the release it is of course fine!
I just hope that I have done something that I should not by promoting my remix!

- Ben

PS: Where should I send my remix to you? =)

Hehe, yah, Andrew told me he had already had a word, but I wanted to take this opertunity to make a public statement as alot of Remixes are surfacing and hopefully others will take note. I thank you for your cooperation in this matter, I hope others are as helpful as you are!

For the second question, all promos/remixes send an email to info [@] mpfsrecords.com with a link to your work. I did listen to the Remix myself earlier, it wasnt bad

I haven't yet, and I won't share the Ben Bording or Incolumnis remixes of the track.

cheers.

Something sounds a bit too loud and distorted... especially through to the climax of the track. The bass might be causing clipping or something... but you can first hear it at the 5:00 mark... it sounds really dirty and distorted...

Other than that, the percussion is OK, the breakdown is awesome, and I really like your use of the vocals. Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to hear the original, so I have nothing to compare this to... but it's a good track.

I knew it wasn't the 'original mix' as such but I was informed by a co-owner of the label (not pillhead) that it was the 'original extended mix', remade for the release by terradia, so there's been some breakdown in communication evidently

ok...the first posted sample was a remix of some kind. The version that is up now is an early version of the Original mix produced by Andr. There is no o"riginal exentded mix". Andr is reproducing as we speak the Original Mix for the vinyl, a much better version!!!
Hope this clear things up...got this from Andr himself! :P

Posted by pillhead on Jun-08-2004 21:21:

there is an extended mix, well the mix I have is "8:29" and the early mixes were only like 5 min radio edits. What is up there now is from the extended mix I have.

In fact the original was "5:44" and we asked Andre to extend it at first and he did.

The new version, nobody will get to hear apart from MPFS staff and Andr, it is being completely reworked and will be the new "original" for the vinyl, it will be mind blowing ;p

But thats tightly locked up with our special keys, maybe 2 min tasters will appear, but nothing else

I'm only going by what Graham (label joint-boss) said, like I mentioned. The first file that was up i was TOLD it was the original extended mix, but if you're 100% that it was a third party remix then Graham obviously got his files mixed up. Goddamn smackhead he is, lol

Neil, what remixes have there been so far then? Alu's, Jaimo's, mine, Neutron... any other names? I know that older sample wasn't any of those...
