If I was gonna buy a coffin, the only ones I would buy are SKB.

This is the exact same dilemma that I have! Are there cases on which you can put a heavy duty lock on and also chain the case to something? Cause I am sure that something will happen to my setup if I don't get a hard case for it.

This is what I would do... I would install a security system in my room.

I was thinking of bringing my shit to school... that is until I actually got there and realized there was no fucking way I could fit turntables in there

hahaha no im not commiting suicide

anyway, reason im thinkin about that coffin imparticular is cuz it has legs, so itll be easier to bring into the dormroom

no i dont think anythin will get stolen, its a small private school

The case will work. Remember to get insurance & keep your stuff locked up. Thieves are everywhere.

I went to a huge university (50,000+ students). I had my turntables and mixer there and the only problem I ever had to deal with was people leaving beers on the platter while I was away. Other than that, it wasn't a big deal. I wouldn't be too afraid about taking your stuff with you

I have that exact case and it works perfect for me because I don't have enough wall space to dedicate to my TT's. It spends most of it's time set up in the middle of my room b/c I have a large amount of floor space but when I need the floor space it's not hard to pack it up and put it in the closet. Overall it's pretty slick for the mobility however if you should want to lug it places having all your gear in one case makes it extremely heavy. If you just want something to set up in your room and be able to tear down when you need the space this won't disappoint.
