Im in the same boat for my physics subject.. Electromagnetism and Mechanics. I haven't studied for it or done one question throught the entire semester. Just thinking about that exam makes me

Good luck everyone, remember to study hard so you won't have to repeat a subject.

Welcome to engineering Dave!! and believe me EVERYTHING you considered really hard this session, will turn out to be the really easy stuff you'll face in your degree!!

4th and final year for me and ive got my least number of exams yet - 4 exams in 8 days.... i hate all you arts students!!!

Posted by G`Dave on Jun-06-2004 12:09:

Tuesday - Engineering Context 1601
Wednesday - Physics B 1802 AND!!! Civil Engineering 1201
Thursday - Maths A 1901

Posted by Trance Nutter on Jun-06-2004 12:53:

I got four over the period of five days

With a weekend in the middle,

One on the thurs
TWO on friday
One on Monday

As if that timetable doesn't blow goats

The two on friday are the two most barstardised subjects ever conceived as well

Don't get me started on those arts students... apparently sitting on the lawns, reading in the sunshine and occasionally drawing something is how uni life is...

Pharmaceutical Biotechnology at UniSA (Adelaide)

One on Friday is Pharmacology 300, we have to know probably about 150-200 drugs, what they do, and ALL their side effects, and if you add this drug with this, what will the effect be.

And to make it worse, they have decided to drop it from the course - NEXT YEAR!!!

The other on friday is a management subject - why scientists need to do management has us all stumped. AND they have decided to drop it next year too!!!

Posted by G`Dave on Jun-06-2004 13:10:

That sounds rough. I don't think my brain could remember all that shit without exploding. Most of my course is remembering formulas and doing calculations. But we have the usual managment and ethics and other 'grey' (as I call it) stuff as well.

If it's an introductory econometrics exam, you'll be fine. I learned everything i knew about that subject in the car on the way to the exam and managed to pass. Chin up

I, however, am royally screwed for contracts...

Cheerio!

Theres nothing wrong with being an Arts student. Take me for example, I go out most if not all weekends and still manage to maintain relatively high grades. I would definitely kill myself if I was doing engineering or anything science based! 1000000 exams, no social life and a whole heap of F's on my academic transcript!

Thanks but no thanks

Posted by TranceForma on Jun-06-2004 14:47:

Oh i got 2 exams this semester. One on the 2nd day and the other on the 2nd last day of exam period!

I wanna meet the guy who gave me this timetable god damn it!

Posted by escee on Jun-06-2004 16:38:

2 exams, 2 days, then ive got my computer science degree (not that its worth much...)

both are subjects that im doing to make up my remaining 6 points and get a major in business information systems or something similar, read: they are piss easy.

Posted by matt.h on Jun-06-2004 17:38:

Arts @ Monash Clayton.

3 exams in a four day period.

Monday 14 - Contemporary Worlds
Wednesday 16 - Australian Politics & Government
Thursday 17 - WWII: Rise of Fascism.

already got a 'Fail' on my academic transcript
dropped criminology becoz it was a total bore and the exam was going to be a killer =[

looking forward to 4 weeks off before semester 2!

gl to everyone with their exams

Posted by webmeister on Jun-06-2004 23:45:

Man, you guys don't know how to pick subjects! Three years at uni, I did four exams in total And three of those were in the first semester of first year

Good luck to everyone though...
