sounds pretty good
but I wouldn't base 80% of them on supersaw (tho I do know your addiction to it )

Posted by alanzo on Jun-06-2004 21:26:

just makes ure u make the demo all 1 mp3 like vengeance-sound does.. oiii..

Posted by Phantax on Jun-06-2004 22:53:

yes, please make the demo 1 mp3.

the samples sounded good though.

Posted by rb2k1 on Jun-07-2004 06:45:

yeah demo will be 1 mp3 when all the patches have been made.. as for now im still making patches so i havent put a mp3 together yet

Im Glad You All Seem To Like the sounds.

And.. a good ammount of patches are based in using the supersaw waveform but why did you buy that jp? Many also use the basic saw waveform as well.. but i did say this was a trance bank.. and trance is a lot based on saws haha.

Ill make more updates as sounds i make more patches

i will buy an extra 8080 just for your soundbank... but i will have to buy my first jp8080 before i do that. :P

hey, one thing i did appreciate was that you titled the songs for your samples. with the 1 mp3 sample from vengeance im gonna have to make a thread and ask you guys lol.

keep up the good work man...
i hope you get some good business for your efforts.

Ross,

Great work on the sound bank.. This is the best set of patches I've ever purchased. My only question is when is the next set coming out??

Cheers,
Mike

Why a bank? I mean, don't most people buy hardware synths so they can program them to create their own unique sounds? I think if you made a sample library from the synth, you would have a wider marketable base, then people who don't own the synth or people who are software only could use the sounds of the JP.

i agree.. and creating your own sounds really isn't that hard and it's much more fulfilling than using presets..

Hey eric, i thought about making a sample library however i decided against it for now. I made a bank because the JP was originally designed as a Techno Synth and therefore most of the sounds that come preloaded are not aimed for current trance. I made my bank for trance sounds and the people who really dont know how to get a great trance sound from their JP-8080 / JP-8000. Thanks for the idea about the sample library tho, it may be something to look into for the future.

Ive spent a lot of time designing these sounds so im glad you guys did like them.

Yeah why not a jp8080 that tranforms into a dishwasher and 3 speed blender.

Ross is a extremley talented sound designer, and has a gift. Not everyone finds it easy to program patches from scratch. Amazing producers like Factoria and Goldenscan are raving about his patches. Alot of big producers like Steve Helstrip, tweak existing patches to get the sound their after. That's how I do it and many other because it's a time saver and gives you a general direction as to what you want your patches to sound like.

It's great to see someone using their talent in a positive way, making his patches available to the whole world at a very small cost for the hours put into this formidable bank. For anyone with a jp, this is a great way to start your trance journey into production, and if i owned a jp id definently pick it up.

For crying out loud, web designers charge much more for less hours of work than what Ross put into this bank. If you ask me this is a steal.

Nice work Ross and good luck

Oh is that so Alanzo, that's strange cause if memory serves me right ,weren't you asking on #Audio0day on efnet just yesterday if anyone had the new Incubation 2 virus bank by Manuel. I mean if it's so fullfilling like you said, must of been your evil twin brother, yeah that's it

Posted by Vert on Jun-12-2004 03:50:

Drop the attitude. If you cannot respond to my posts without it, then I ask you not do it anymore. (sorry to bring down your thread a bit rbk, if you want me to delete this PM me or post.)

Any chance you could make such a trance bank for a VSTi, cause not everybody has the money to buy a JP8000?!
