how odd...was just having a conversation with someone last week about this, which was initiated after seeing armin's classical trancelations album pop up. i haven't heard any reviews at all about the geert album and assumed it flopped.

this sounds interesting, just because of geert huinink, if it's anything like his previous classical/trance work with tiesto, this should be mint

This has been out for a long time, I bought it at Christmas.

A lot of the tracks are great, some are a bit cheesy. I suppose since it's a rather commercial release it couldn't be avoided. It's mixed/sequenced and is only 64-odd minutes long, but if you can get it cheaply (like I did) I would recommend it. The production quality is impeccable as would be expected. Best tracks are Delibes' Flower Duet, Bach's Badinerie (a tech-edged monster of a track), Handel's Sarabande and Dvorak's Symphony No. 9. For some reason Rollerball - Albinon is chucked in, which seems a bit out of place, but admittedly the style is similar.

Looks great. After they got "Classical Trancelations" released, I wanted more!

But check out my own classical trancelation on: Bruckner - Symphony Nr.4 (the "finale" part)

From Paris To Lyon page (weBsley's 2004 remake)

Mp3 should start automatically, enjoy!

I think their remix of Bach's Air On The G String is pretty damn good. But, yeah, the original material is outstanding from the start so it's hard to make it sound bad. Probably the best track on this compilation, the other Bach remix is pretty good too, though.
