Welcome to the dark side (?)...

Arrived a little late, though.

heh, yuppp. and i remember specifically saying 'bleh, i will never like prog. it is so boring.' yet here i am listening to a james zabiela set. followed by loads and loads of prog singles. with a hint of coheed and cambria thrown in for good measure

Posted by DjCoz on Jun-07-2004 23:15:

Cool

I've already answered the call. But I must say, I used to view it as the dark side myself.

Bah .. I've tried prog and I can't stand it. Tech-trance/techno is the way forward

I'm in love.

I took prog out on one date and got road head on the way home...

The future looks bright.

Welcome

Posted by vishous5 on Jun-08-2004 03:39:

yeah it seems that all the stuff these days is considered prog? but i guess people like ozugur, leama&moor, kosmas, petter and holden and even markus are keepin it real.

i'm glad you switched over.

Posted by Shudder on Jun-08-2004 03:42:

Is there any chance he'll go back to playing real progressive like he used to???

Posted by daphunky1 on Jun-08-2004 05:00:

Wut?? maybe I don't know wut "real proegressive" is, but I got markus schulz's coldharbour sessions, and its all amazing prog.

Posted by Synchronized on Jun-08-2004 09:06:

last autumn i heard James Holden - A Break In The Clouds and didnt like it all. that music wasnt for me. today: i love all of holdens tracks!

i just suddenly got bored with the trance i used to listen to. it all sounded the same to me. and now i listen mainly to progressive and breakbeat. this seems to have happened to a lot of people and it feels like its just not about what is "trendy". maybe a lot of people just got bored like me?

on the other hand, i have been listening to orbital, underworld, FSOL, etc, in the past so i suppose it is just something that has been dormant for awhile. just waiting for the right tunes to stir its slumber. i think it was probably stirred the first time by the g&d remix of mindcircus autumn of 02. took me just over a year to become a fully awoken prog-lover. i take my time, dont want to rush things

right now i dont really want to listen to anything else, but i probably will switch to something else completely all of a sudden. hmm, i havent listened to my Greyboy records for a long time, maybe it is time for some jazz.
