TTX-1 cartrigde

I'm waiting fot it to arrive...

From what I read it should include the headshell & cartridge, right?
For those who own one, is it any good or should I replace it ASAP?
Thanks

im not absolutly sure if it comes with a cartridge. Most high end turntables don't come with them. If it does, expect a numark brand and all numark carts suck. I would shop for cartridges while you are waiting for your turntables to arrive.

TTX-1's do not come with a cartridge. You are going to have to go out and get some yourself.

^^
Damn. Oh well,
Thanks

Not a problem. Keep me posted on which ones you get. I have Numark TTX1 too so if you have any questions about them feel free to ask.

Yep, no carts only headshells. If you need a recommendation I'd go with White Labels. I have em on my TTX1's and they're excellent.

Whitelabels are sweet if you wanna mix and record. If you are more into scratching, check out the m44-7, and if you want the great tracking of m44-7 and sound that's still good check out the m44-g.

If you don't have the $$$ for either of the three, then check out stanton 520sk or 505sk as a budget cart.

Couldn't agree more...

I couldn't sgree more with the Whitelabels. That is what I use too. However, they need a little breaking in.

i swear whitelabels are a godsend to me. I take them to every house party, mix session, and gig i go to.

The only thing i didn't like about all carts aside from the m44-g/m44-7 is the stupid stylus protector. i lost one for the whitelabels at a friends house and they've disappeared forever. Also the beautiful brushed aluminum needle cases that comes w/ whitelabels will easily show their wear after being thrown in a bag. If you take your carts out of the house you need to buy this, it's a must:

Hey y'all,
Thanks. I think I'm getting the M44Gs cos I wanna get into scratching. I don't have my style developed so I'm not shure I will scratch, but I wanna

Good choice. Those should work well for scratching and will have sound quality at the same time. PM me if you need help.
