Tracks similar to Hertz - Recreate

I'm really digging hearing an old skool kinda synth over the top of techy beats, and wondering if theres any other tracks following this structure that I should be checking out, love both the original & montana edits on this, really powerful and the t99 samples remind of of days long gone

So Any help from techno or tech-trance whores is appreciated

Devilfish - Man alive
Bryan Zentz - D-Clash

are you looking for tracks like that? It's the closest to your description I can think of at the moment.. Maybe some more research has to be done

I'll check both these out & let you know if they have the same elements I'm looking for, thanks I'm obviously very new to techno & haven't even touched the skin of how deep it goes, and how many tracks there are, but I have to start somewhere will let you know when i've checked them out

Are you after new tracks or d'you wanna include older releases. I've got a few at home but can't remember them off the top of my head.

No probs. I'll see what I can find when I get home. The one's I've got lean generally more towards tech-trance if thats ok. Around the 1995 era.

I'll dig out a couple of names and post em so you can see if they're in the style you're after.

As for straight up Techno I've just got myself a copy of DK8 - Murder Was The Bass. I know I was way off the mark with timing but I just had to have a copy. You probably already know that one though.

Breaker is on The Present EP, so also check out:

Hertz - Atmosfear
Hertz - Tripping
Hertz - Mouldable

Then look for:

Adam Beyer & Henrik B - Wombing
Echoplex - Epicentrum
Eric Sneo - Many Worlds
Heckmann & Henze - Girl Of The Day
Invexis - Kalibreur
Joris Voorn - Shining

No common theme to those really, just some techno tunes I came across that seem pretty accessible. I think they might fit the basic criteria you suggested.

Then you need Umek. Not all will sound like Hertz, but try them all the same. Some of his best, in alphabetical order:

Benozal
Brotax
Ceroxol
Detozex
Kenox
Lanicor
Pharmacid
Taxil
Tracocan
Traumafilin
Zoombie

Yes, I'm a big Umek fan. MSN me if you want more tips or something.

Just to say, i've finally got round to checking some of these tunes out (tho some are hard to find) and the ones i've really loved are

Joris Voorn - Incident
D-Clash
Final Quadrant
Man Alive
Discotech (Monika Kruse rmx)
and the other Hertz tunes
DJ Preach - Frontiere/Return to the Source (Need to find these to buy also!)
Michel De Hey vs Secret Cinema - I Hate Trends

definitely the sound I Like, as well as the new Beyer tunes with Jesper Dahlback.

if anyone can recommend anymore in a similar vein, or other DJs who's sets I should get on this kinda sound, plus stuff similar to Cave & Takkyu Ishino too, i'd be grateful
